Stayed here for a girl’s trip this past weekend. The neighborhood is under construction and very loud. Also, would NOT walk through it at night. It is far from the “good” part of King Street and the city market area.. we had to UBER from this location. House is very small, water pressure is not good and kitchen windows and doors have no privacy blinds or shutters. The TV did not work upon check in, we had to get batteries for the remote. Netflix and other options never did work, we watched a movie on our iPad. Internet is terrible! Two people had to leave the property to get work done because of the lack of internet. The property is managed by Stay Duvet that never sent check-in information, I had to call them. The property states it comes with on-site parking for the unit, but you have to have a very small car or it won’t fit in the space. I have been to Charleston many times, I would never stay here again or recommend this property.
The house was nice. Although living areas are small, it worked for our group because we were out enjoying the city most of the trip. Easy check-in and check-out and good communication from the property management.
Very cute house but wasn’t in the quiet proximity we were hoping for, not much to walk around and do
We had my husband and me coming from north Florida, my mother coming from Missouri and my daughter and her husband coming from North Carolina. We had a little trouble controlling the temperature in the house for 5 people but that could be user error or the fact that we all seemed to want a different temperature, lol! Location was great. Could Uber/Lyft with my 84 year old mother and my husband while my 30 something daughter and her husband would walk (maybe to get some space from the oldies? who knows?). Clean, nice appliances, amenities (towels etc.) were good. We had a nice family visit meeting up from three different states. Would stay there again
This is an adorable little house that fit our needs. It was clean and well equipped. Renters should be aware that it is on a busy street and the windows are single pane, allowing noise to come in easily. Also a concern is the close proximity of unit B, their lights and outdoor activity are noticeable from inside our unit, especially at night. The designated parking space is really tight - too tight for a compact suv. The management was very responsive in assisting to working out an alternate parking space. We are walkers, so walking downtown and to the south of the city was not a concern, but it could be a problem for others. We would consider staying here again.
This house was a great find and extremely affordable! We had 6 people staying in the house and we all fit comfortably! The house was very clean and well taken care of! Good location just off of King Street for a nice walk or a quick Uber/Lyft ride to your destination! Definitely would recommend!
