Beautiful two-story, three bedroom, three bath townhome close to downtown and skiing. Feels like a free-standing home.
Located just four blocks from Main Street in Ketchum, you can park your car and walk/bike to all the wonderful shops, galleries, restaurants and trails. A morning stroll to Java on 4th for coffee or breakfast at Perry's is one of the privileges of this central Ketchum location.

The house is equipped with all the essentials to make it feel at least as good as home. Nestled in West Ketchum on a quiet side street, with views of Sun Valley's Bald Mountain and surrounding mountains, you are in the mountains and also close to everything civilization has to offer. The open, airy feel of the main floor is expressed in vaulted ceilings and a wonderful stone fireplace in the great room, comfortable dining room and a well-stocked state-of-the-art kitchen. The authentic western decor is complemented by elegant alder doors and trim, granite kitchen countertops and slate flooring. Upstairs, the carpeted master suite also has vaulted ceilings, a king bed, a large walk-in closet, flat screen TV and Garnet Hill bedding. The master bathroom has a walk-in travertine shower, travertine floors, separate water closet and a jacuzzi tub. On the main level the two bedrooms have carpet throughout. One has a queen bed and the other has a king bed. Each bedroom has two full length mirrored closets and their own bathrooms with subway tiled showers/tub. The laundry/mud room has a washer/dryer, utility sink, and plenty of extra towels and sheets.

If you're not familiar with Sun Valley, it's world class skiing at its finest!! The snowmaking is some of the best in the country and the gondola is an option for those who like to stay warm on the way up. There are two main lift accesses for the ski mountain; River Run and Warm Springs. River Run, with its new gondola and beautiful base area can be reached in a 3 minute drive, 5 minute bike ride, or 10 minute walk. Which means you can have the all the amenities of town but still have the relaxation of being in the mountains and close to the slopes. Warm Springs Lift access is 5 miles away. Many of the skier races and half pipes are located on this side of the mountain. Also, Apple's Restaurant offers great apres ski entertainment and food.

The house is centrally located to all the valley has to offer. Walking distance to the Big Wood River for blue ribbon trout fishing. The 48 mile long bike path is 1/2 block away. Numerous hiking, snow shoeing and biking trails are very close by. During the winter, there is an ice skating rink two blocks away and the bike path turns into a cross country ski trail. Local tennis courts are two blocks away. Several golf courses are close by. Art galleries are within walking distance. The valley's KART bus can take you to the YMCA; or for that matter you could walk to the Y for a swim.

There are many events to attend while visiting the Sun Valley/Ketchum area: Ride Sun Valley Bike Festival, 4th of July Rodeo, Sun Valley Wine Auction, Sun Valley Arts & Crafts Festival, Writers Conference, Trailing of the Sheep, Wagon Days, Sun Valley Summer Symphony, Jazz Festival and the Northern Rockies Folk Festival to name a few......

    Great place, very convenient to all of Ketchum. We especially loved the great room, where we celebrated Christmas with a roaring fire & comfy couches. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking, unlike many rentals. We expect to go back.

    Great location for summer or winter activities. Comfortable and clean and spacious for a large family. Easy to communicate with the owner. We had a great time!Only downside was the unavailability of SV pool/rec access passes. The resort told us they could not honor the passes for that property location (another reviewer mentioned a similar problem). I know the owner is sorting it out with the resort. Regardless we would happily stay again at this location.

    Great house. Great location. Close to the shuttles. Walking distance to town. Beautiful view down valley that caught the morning light on the mountains. An open field where the kids played in the snow after skiing.We’ve been making an annual ski trip to SV for years and would love to stay here again.

    Pros: The townhouse is well-maintained and very clean. The location is fantastic! We really enjoyed playing games and visiting in the large living room. The photos are accurate.Cons: We were responsible for shoveling and buying salt for the driveway for the first of our two weeks. There is no hot tub (as in listing), and the promised passes to the pools and hot tub at the lodge did not come through.

    Nicely decorated townhome with 3BR, 3 BA. Nice to have snow melt in garage each night, since it snowed nearly every night we stayed there. Easy walks to restaurants in downtown Ketchum. Bike trail was one block away, convenient for a dog walk or a quick skate ski.

    This is a charming townhome. The pictures on the website are 100% accurate, which is always a fear we have when renting other properties. Averell is easy to deal with and very attentive. We had a great time, and would recommend this property and the town of Ketchum to anyone looking for a great holiday in Sun Valley.

    Beautiful home with a cozy vibe. We enjoyed the proximity to the restaurants in town. Access to the mountain was easy with a free public bus only 1-2 blocks away. Would stay here again with our friends and family.
