Stayed Jun 16, 2025The location of this home can't be beat - it is just above Stuart and has a nice porch and good views. We struggled with bugs throughout the home our entire stay. I see this as more of a maintenance issue than the homeowner. We requested the home be treated multiple times but all Vacasa would say is they were looking into it. Anyone coming to Lake J and staying in a Vacasa-managed property will need to be prepared to do some cleaning upon check-in. This home advertises AC, but if you are coming in the summer know that the two bedrooms upstairs will be VERY hot. Be aware that the driveway is VERY steep but does level out at the top. Some of our group was able to navigate it but other vehicles scraped too much or drivers weren't comfortable on the incline. It is right by the admin building though, so it is easy to just park in that lot and walk up.
