we love this because..
It's our dream to escape to the country. Even if it is only for a weekend!
JOIE DE VIVRE is our dream escape to your own little piece of paradise with picturesque 10-acre views in Red Hill, in the heart ofthe peninsula's wine region. When we drive down the quiet country lane with the tree-lined driveway we know we have the most relaxing weekend waiting for us. As interiors addicts, we feel like we have walked into a magazine cover. What to look at first The marvellous french inspired cast iron fireplace or the facing chesterfield sofas or the view in the background.
We really never want to leave, we walk the dog in the grounds and sit on the jetty in the dam and ponder the meaning of life while watching the fishes swim by. The kids are completely engrossed in the playground, tennis court or basketball...so many things to do.
The property is located right next door to Main Ridge Estate and across from Red Hill Cheese, two wonderful gourmet destinations that we don't even need to get in the car and drive to. The vines for Main Ridge Estate are in fact at the back door of this property.
Please note that there is a security camera located on the roof of the pump shed by the water tanks. The camera is pointed towards the equipment shed and has no view of the main house, playground or dam. This camera is not active during your stay.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE - Property is suitable for maximum of 8 adults plus additional children.

PAWfect
What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside.
Yay! a huge garden...but no fences. I will have to be on my best behaviour and not wander off. Love the trees and bushes, there are lots of interesting smells. Are those possums in the trees
And there's a special basket just for me. No way! What's in there Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

The house worked well for the family spanning from 4 to 85 years old. The kids loved the playground and the tennis court and the fireplace was going for the whole 3 days which was lovely. Very well set up house and beautiful land. Our Freddy (Moodle) loved it too.

This home was a beautiful setting for a peaceful vacation reconnecting with family including our four legged pup. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated with everything we needed. The tennis court and basketball hoop provided fun for us all especially our 12 year old. The kitchen was ideal for the times we wanted to eat in. There was plenty of space to have fun all together while also have space for families to have quiet time also. Location was ideally located to so many activities such as wine tasting, the hot springs, spectacular views from Arthur’s seat and more. Perfect home to spend our time discovering Mornington Peninsular!

House / garden / tennis court - excellent. More garden chairs would have been useful. Child play area better than most council facilities but could do with shade sails. Lacking appropriate supply of some basics eg loo paper / dishwasher powder / laundry powder. Overall everyone had a fab time. Ps no communication with manager but not necessary

This was the perfect spot for our family ranging from 7 month old to grandparents. Great having toys there also. Well laid out property with the living areas all looking out to the beautiful tree view - very relaxing for us all as we celebrated my sons 30th birthday together.

We booked this amazing property for family getaway with our adult children their partners and our fur babies. It has been an unforgettable weekend for our family and every possibility that this will be the start on an ongoing family tradition. We enjoyed family tennis competitions, walks with the dogs on the expansive property, wine & cheese on the deck whilst taking in the view and card games by the fire in the evenings. A big thank you to the owners for allowing us to enjoy their beautiful home. It is beautifully appointed in every way and we will most certainly be back. Thank you!
