'John's Farmhouse in Mount Snow' on 120 Acres!

This property worked great for our two families. We weren’t there much as spent all opening hours skiing at Mt Snow but had plenty of space to sit around in the evening and talk and relax eating pizza after our long days! They were great about communication before and during our stay.

Effie was a great host and the house was beautiful. It fit all of our needs and stayed warm in the below 0 degree F weather.

We had our best experience staying at John's Farm, Effie(host) was so nice to communicate with about everything during our trip.The house is beautiful, you get a nice vintage feel and has everything to keep a big group occupied. It's very spacious for 10ppl. Located in perfect place, very private yet close to all shopping and restaurants and Mt snow.

The farmhouse was warm, cozy, clean and well appointed. We found everything we needed to cook, relax and enjoy the stay. The host was responsive and welcoming. Everything was as advertized and worked out perfectly. The view from the livingroom was beautiful. The property location is perfect for hiking, snowshoeing and skiing. We definitely hope to return for a fall stay.

This property was stunning, with a view you could look at forever. It is secluded and quiet, yet less than three miles from everything you need. We will return!

The farmhouse was perfect for a couple of nights away. Our group spent a great deal of time around the fireplace at night and spent the day enjoying the view from the porch and grounds. We took advantage of the brewery and pizza that was no more than a 10 minute drive from the property. Grocery store was equally close and convenient. Owners provided all the charcoal for the grill and made it so we didn’t have to think about anything. The way vacation should be. Highly recommend if you are looking for privacy but at the same time want to be close to amenities.

This place was amazing. We were even allowed to check in a little early since we got up to VT a little earlier than expected. Much more spacious than the pictures led on to. The upstairs had 4 bedrooms and there was a bedroom off the stairwell downstairs. The living room had an amazing fire place and room for all to sit and relax. Specifics and directions were clear and consistent. It’s the perfect distance from downtown Wilmington and MT Snow. We would definitely consider staying here again!

This place is making it perfect getaway to rest and relax after a day at the slopes which are just 30 minutes away. Our group felt like being at grandma’s house. Very comfortable stay with great views. Thank you Effie for making us feel welcome and being available whenever we need it. Very highly recommend John’s farmhouse and definitely we will stay there again.

This is our second year enjoying all that the farmhouse has to offer. Our group felt right at home once again. Yoga on the deck each morning, wiffle ball games in the meadow, sitting around the bonfire each night, meals at the picnic table looking at the mountains. Just the best place to convene and relax together as a family. Thank you, Effie, for making us feel welcomed and valued. This spot is very easy to love.
