Stayed Sep 25, 2025The place is great, especially the big screened in porch. If it's too cold (I guess it actually does happen in Austin) to eat on the porch or something, and you have more than two people for a meal, there are only two places to sit at the kitchen island. Otherwise, it's dandy.

Stayed May 5, 2025The house was very nice and had everything I needed. The only issue I had was that it's hard to find, especially in the dark so I'd recommend getting there before sunset to make sure you can find the place. I had to park, get out of my car and walk the street until I finally found it. Other than that, it's a great place to stay for a single, couple or a couple of friends.

Stayed Mar 9, 2024The house was the perfect fit for our family of 5. 3 boys in one room and parents in the other. Clean and great location. We will definitely return. Only tiny bit of critical feedback would be backyard was overgrown so kids couldn’t really play in the back, but that was minor. We loved our stay overall.

Stayed Sep 19, 2023We had a good time in Austin. The house was in a good location, convenient to everything. Huge back porch worked out great for us to play dominoes on. Checking in and checking out was fine. Plenty of parking, although we only needed space for one car.

Stayed Jun 26, 2023Wendy and James were excellent communicators. Professional & clear. There are many maintenance items that should be checked - Most importantly, water is leaking into the bathroom shower wall tile - and there is mildew growing. The BR fan is full of dust, so is probably not working efficiently. Toilet seat is very worn and should be replaced. The back patio/porch is not fully screened. It's a nice space, but right now, there is no advantage to sitting in this space vs. in the yard as we were exposed to mosquitos, flies, moths, and other bugs. Garbage disposal switch for the kitchen sink does not work. The handle on the kitchen sink faucet repeatedly falls off... and we just screw it back on. Because there is no knob on the brass lamp in the LR, guests plug and unplug the cord for lighting - like a poor college student. Floor lamp in front BR does not work. Lastly, the left closet door handle in the Master BR is not secured at all. It fell out when I tried to open the closet. With regular maintenance and TLC, this cute little cottage could be a GEM!
