Home Truths:
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Pool heat is a paid feature and must be requested 48-72 hours before the day of check-in.
- Please note that the back balcony is not fenced.
- This home is located in a neighborhood with a strict noise ordinance policy and therefore is only suitable for quieter groups. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- The master bathroom tub's jets are currently non-operational.
- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Same-day bookings are not permitted.
- Absolutely no exterior amplified music is allowed. Violations will result in a $500 fine.
- While we do our best to notify guests in advance, unannounced power outages may occur due to unexpected city maintenance.
- No events are allowed unless pre-approved and coordinated through Avantstay. This includes but is not limited to: rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and social gatherings.
- All guests must comply with local laws regarding outdoor lighting, quiet hours, and limitations on parties or gatherings.

Parking Details:
The driveway fits 3 cars.
1 car can fit comfortably in the larger garage.
The single-car garage is not available to guests.
Street cleaning occurs on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. Cars parked on the west side will be ticketed and towed.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

    We rented the place for our baby's first birthday. My family stayed for three nights and we had 10 people for the party the last night. A lot of us went home with unforgettable memories, not saying in a sarcastic way at all.The view exceeded all of our expectations. The pool was more private than it seemed in the photos: It was located in the front yard with high walls.The communication with the host was swift and efficient.

    Got a chance to stay at this home to celebrate my birthday. They were flexible with me having some friends over for a evening for dinner and my guests had parking . Rooms were clean and beds were comfy . Loved this home and would book again!

    My wife and I have stayed at rental properties throughout the US, Central America and Europe and this home is now one of our very favorites. Exquisitely appointed and decorated, supplied with every possible amenity and immaculately maintained. The pics don’t do it justice. The view is phenomenal from the Hills overlooking La Jolla beach and is a few minutes drive from the shores/downtown area with all the retail and restaurants. We highly recommend this home and look forward to an opportunity to return.
