What an amazing mini vacation. The house is lovely, charming and unique. Complete gem. My family loved watching the deer in our back yard, up to 20 at one point. The house was so comfortable and spacious and beautifully decorated. We made wonderful memories swimming, kayaking, jet skiing and playing games, fishing. I would recommend in a heart beat. The hosts even left a little gift basket to welcome us.

Host was awesome. Great communication, responsiveness and support before and during the trip. The house was as-advertised. No surprises.

House was cozy, rooms weren’t as described on part of the listing about sleeping areas but I believe that’s been corrected now. 4 girls showed up to celebrate a bday on the lake and tan together on the 4 beds and 2 of them were missing and weren’t replaced until the middle of the 2nd day, which was our last day there, so we ended up having to make other plans. Loved the dozens of deer visiting in the evening and loved the upper patio overlooking the lake. Owner was very responsive.

The inside of the house was very cute. However the outside needs some work. The so called beach area is a small piece owner has boxed in and put sand. The place is very rocky and hard to get to the watwr for older and younger people.

We enjoyed our stay at this family friendly home. The kitchen is well stocked and supplies are readily available. My grandkids loved having the deer come up each day and feeding them off the deck.

We stayed at this property in May 2025. While the location is peaceful and we enjoyed the deer, fire pits, and the serene balcony off the master bedroom, the house itself was disappointing. It was in need of a deep clean-I had to strip one of the beds and even wash the mattress pad to get rid of the dead bugs. Kitchen items were minimally stocked and had to be washed before use. The listing photos are misleading regarding the lake. Due to historic low levels, the shoreline is now a small hike from the house, and boat launching from the property is not possible. However, you can rent boats from nearby Cranes Mill Marina—Robin there was very helpful.With some thorough cleaning and updates to the listing for accuracy, this could be a much better rental.

We loved our stay here! It’s difficult to find GREAT places to stay that fit our family dynamics. Price was right, pet policy was great, Owners are AMAZING, more than enough to entertain all age groups and so so cozy. We will return! Thanks Malina!

Great spot with lots of little special touches that made for a fantastic stay. Lake was low, weather was bad, and STILL had a GREAT time. Highly recommend!

Thjs place was awesome. Family had great time. Property is awesome. Right on lake. The jet skis were fun. Hosts were very responsive and and friendly. Would recommend.

We really enjoyed our visit there. It was family friendly, and dog friendly. The owners also didn’t mind if I had my family that lived in town come and visit (they did not stay over). We loved having all the open space to enjoy our time together. The dads’ really loved fishing together, on property, at the Water’s edge. We were able to feed the whole family with all the fish we caught from the shore. Together we ate many meals, played board games and completed a puzzle while some of the other others watched a shows or play other games. We had a fantastic time ant this property and would like to stay there again in the future. We do recommend this property.Cheers!!

We felt right at home. This place is a hidden jewel. We had a great weekend. We loved the experience of an indoor wood furnace. We were lucky that we were able to feed the deer.

We stayed at the Rimrock Beach House for 4 days in November. The weather was absolutely perfect to enjoy all the cabin had to offer. The kayaks and paddleboards were ready and waiting. We made a fire for smores and jumped in the hot tub which was perfect for the cool evening. It was so homey and inviting and bonus that we were able to bring our dog and enjoy the time being outside. I couldn't recommend the place more, especially this time of year. The only caution would be that there is a steep hill down to the lake and the bedrooms are all upstairs so be sure to keep that in mind if there are any in your party with physical disabilities. Amazing stay. Thank you for your hospitality!
