Jackson Village Home on Ellis River

We enjoyed a fully stocked kitchen, newer appliances, multiple living areas and large dining table for family meals. On cold winter days, we loved the wood burning stove stocked with wood and kindling. Miles of cross country ski trails are a 5 minute drive away. Down hill ski area maybe 15 minute drive. Apartment over the garage was perfect for a young family needing privacy. This place is cozy, quiet and well situated to Jackson.

We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful and our host was very accommodating with check in/out! We had some technical issues with the wifi but it was resolved very quickly due to the host responding fast! We loved our stay and would happily stay again!!

The host Jim is amazing and his home is absolutely gorgeous....perfect in every way....the house itself and the location! This will be a yearly get away!!

Spacious and inviting property . Nice layout and a bonus apartment if someone’s looking for a separate space. We had a great time, listening to the river and making s’mores by the fire. Very clean and organized with a fun game room in the basement.

We chose this property because the house had ample space to accommodate our large extended family for a wedding in Jackson. The home is fully outfitted which allowed us to enjoy the weekend with ease. The host was very communicative and everything was as described. Being able to coordinate a later checkout made for a more relaxing end to a great weekend. The outdoor spaces were a special treat. We enjoyed the firepit area and porch views of the river and Jackson covered bridge. Gorgeous!

Jim’s house is a lovely, well-equipped and spacious home that has amazing views of the river, covered bridge and mountains. The outdoor space is beautifully landscaped. Inside, everything the kitchen area is labeled. The welcome book is filled with information and it truly answers nearly every question we could imagine. The only disappointment in our stay was the numerous spots on the carpeting—fortunately, it was the only negative part of our stay and Jim told us the flooring is next on his list. Until then, a professional carpet cleaning would improve the overall appearance. Everything else was immaculate! Communication was timely and I’d recommend this home to other guests.

The space was incredible for our needs of our family going to a wedding at the nearby inn. All of us were able to stay comfortably and it was so close to the nearby venue we could walk. We loved the view and how secluded it was from main roads. The fire pit was great for use at night and the house itself was decorated adorably!

What a fabulous stay! I stayed here from July 27-August 1, 2024. Property was exactly as advertised. Spacious, clean, and well stocked. The air conditioning worked great and was much needed as the days were hot and humid. Loved being able to hear the river below. We had 7 adults in our party, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We will definately stay again on our next trip to Jackson.

This was the best VRBO experience I have had. Property was SO CLEAN and so well equipped. Everything was clearly labeled and organized. Plenty of cooking equipment in the kitchen, plenty of towels, pillows, blankets. So many nice extras (laundry, game room). Host was extremely flexible with an early check in and late check out which we so appreciated. Lots of comfortable sitting areas, so close (easy walk!) to the little Main Street and shops of Jackson. Plenty of space for a large group. My family and I would love to return in the winter! Loved it!
