House has a great view. Open floor plan, full kitchen. Loved just sitting in the living room next to the gas fireplace watching the day go by. Close to downtown La Conner. Very quite and restful weekend.

Beautiful views. Everything was clean and well maintained. Matress was clearly older and not super comfortable. Smoke alarms went off for no reason. We happened to stay on several very hot days, but plenty of fans were provided to cool down the house.

The rental was awesome! Definitely dated but it was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed how close it was to the beach you could walk on and that it was a very short drive to La Conner. A few things that would’ve made it a little better: we cooked dinner and breakfast at the rental and the pots/pans were very old and stained. There were very few plates so we had to do dishes very often and never had enough for a meal. (we had a total of 6 people). The stove took some getting used to as it is very old and not the most reliable. We loved having the grill and the deck to spend time on! The hosts were very responsive and had snacks/drinks supplied for us.

We loved this little place! Location was perfect. View was incredible. Perfect place for the price. A few ginormous ants was the only fallback! Needs a little updating but again the price was worth it! Definitely will stay again.

The pictures don't do this place justice! All the bedrooms have glass sliders onto a nice deck, and the beach is right across the street. Views of the Olympic mountains from the living room! Yard was very nicely landscaped, the kitchen was stocked, and the host provided snacks. We don't usually love carpeting, but this house has very clean, soft carpeting that seems newer.

We had 5 adults stay for a 4 day vacation. Jackie was so good with communicating prior to, during, and after the visit. We really appreciated the Washington snacks and beer sampler. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and a BBQ grill to make delicious salmon purchased at a local fish market. The house was also perfect for my 82 year old mother, all one level with a walk in shower. The view is magnificent from the entire house. We enjoyed the table (big enough for games) and the foosball table. We even did a polar plunge in the water one morning. La Conner is a great little town with many restaurants, art galleries and a fabulous knitting store. It was a great home base!

We typically stay in BC along the coast somewhere each year. This year we tried something a little different and stayed on the Washington Coast and we very thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The first evening was the lightening storm so we pulled the sofas to the windows and watched all together (6 of us) for hours. The sofas stayed there for a few days because we all enjoyed the view after a day of either sightseeing or paddling or games on the lawn. We met neighbours who generously shared their crab catch, kayaked and paddle boarded ( our own equipment) and had a family Olympics including the fuse ball and ping pong ball tables. The house is a bit of a time capsule, obviously loved by someone for a very long time and in excellent original shape. Everything about the home was comfortable, especially the amount of room and views from every room. Jackie was more than accommodating answering questions any day and time. La Connor is an adorable town with lots of quality shops to visit right on the water. We will absolutely be back and will remember to bring our crab traps

Our stay at the Hope Island house was truly special. There were six of us, grandparents, adult kids, and a toddler. The layout of the house was ideal. The living room windows allowed for beautiful views of the water, as well as all three bedrooms having views and each bedroom also has access to the deck. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked not only with useful gadgets but also with food and nonfood items. Jackie was super helpful and responsive from the moment the reservations were made. She even left some welcome snacks in a basket and in the refrigerator for us, which was greatly appreciated. The ping pong table in the garage was a fun treat. We never got around to playing bocce ball in the big yard. We were too busy enjoying the beach and relaxing. We hope to return to this beautiful oasis.
