ISLAND OASIS ~ Stylish 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Home w/ Private Heated Pool!

What a great find. Pictures don’t do it justice, esp. the pool area. Dog friendly!

About a 10 min drive to the airport, and walkable to everything we wanted to do - beach, Duval St bars and shops, restaurants, butterfly conservatory. The house was clean and the living room furniture was comfortable and in good condition. The outdoor lounge furniture was comfortable but all of the cushions were ripped and the beds were really loud anytime you moved a little, the shower in the smaller bedroom had such poor water pressure, it wasn’t usable. The other one was ok though. In the kitchen, the pans were very worn and scratched up and at least one burner on the stove wasn’t working. We didn’t reach out about any of these issues as we were able to work around them, but we were kind of disappointed given the amount we paid for the house. Management was great - easy to contact and quick to respond.

Host was very responsive to us and the property is easy to access. Key West is a wonderful spot to visit, fabulous restaurants, walkability, gorgeous surroundings and interesting history. The roosters awakening us between 4-5 AM only added to the ambience! Suggestions for the host given the property cost is to have starter packets of coffee and water. The layout of 2 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms is ideal - very clean property, enjoyable dipping pool. For dining we loved Frenchies Cafe breakfasts. Dinner highlights: Red Shoe, Blue Heaven and Bagatelle. Best docent at Truman's Little White House - best experience tour Hemingway House.

The location was phenomenal.

Good and convenient location, Comfortable beds and fresh linens, towels etc. and wonderful customer service from thee rental company.

It is not as nice as photographs suggest.Back pool area had a pungent foul odor.There are two electrical outlets next to sinks in master bathroom. One is not grounded. The other is grounded and there is burn residue on it.

It was an extremely easy process from booking, check-in, and check-out. The management company was great with quick communication and the concierge was very helpful. The location of the house was perfect for walking to Duval Street area and we felt very safe. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I really liked this house. Full privacy in backyard with a pool. Nice kitchen. Master Bedroom was nice. We would stay here again. A little on the pricey side.

Cute little house close to everything! We enjoyed walking everywhere because of the location of the property. The pool was a hit with my teenage daughter and her friend! We would definitely book again!

property was as described. Zero issues, great pool, private backyard, downstairs living area opens up with sliding doors to the pool area creating a great indoor/outdoor experience. Cuban stand around the corner for morning coffee. A couple of blocks from the southern waterfront, lighthouse, Hemmingway house and .8 miles walking to the Marina and other waterfront. Easy as summer morning. Would 100% rebook.

New, softer ones would be nice. The safe in the closet didn't work. In the master bedroom, the AC vents or something in the ducts rattled and we didn't sleep well. In the downstairs half bathroom, the cold water didn't work and the toilet handle is not working. Since you asked, for what we paid I think the place could use a freshening up.

Overall the property was lovely and as advertised. A few tweaks would greatly enhance the experience. Second bedroom needs more light and both bedrooms could use more pillows. The back patio cabinet doors should be secured with latches because when it’s breezy at night they continuously slam open and shut. Quite noisy! Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Walk a few more blocks you're on Duval and a bit further to the Southernmost Point. A few things could be upgraded in the home itself. Primary bedroom bed was very worn and squeaked every time you move. The guest bedroom beds are on wheels and roll across the floor. I read a review from a long time ago with the same issue. Thought it would have been addressed but was not. The shower heads in both bathrooms could be better. Both are the rain style which are hard to rinse soap off with low water pressure. Kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishes etc. The cooking utensils were poor quality. Plastic breaking off in food as we were cooking. We used washer and dryer mid-week. Took us 2 hours to dry 6 towels. It was very old. Needs to be changed out. Otherwise, the house was clean and in a great location.

Island Oasis is a perfect place to have a vacation ! Set in a quiet neighborhood but close to all the good stuff. The pool was great with underwater lights so you can swim at night ! All the beds are very comfortable and after a hot day the house is nice and cool from the AC. We will be returning to this house we loved it!!!

Island Oasis was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay with our friends. We stayed with another couple and were so comfortable. The bedrooms were awesome and there is a washer and dryer located upstairs. The kitchen also had everything we needed. We really enjoyed hanging out on the porch area by the pool. It was humid and it was so nice to take a dip in the pool in the afternoons. The location was great, still around plenty of stores and restaurants but far enough away that the sounds from Duval do not disturb you. We would definitely stay at Island oasis again!
