Island Breeze | Short Walk to Beach

Place was close to beach, clean, plenty of room and we loved it!

Nice beach house, nicely decorated and kept up. Clean. Short walk to beach. Quiet neighborhood.

We had an excellent stay! Perfect house for small family. Nice bathrooms and kitchen and a short walk to the beach that was not too crowded. Property management communicated well and maintain the property nicely. Biggest complaint (and it’s minor) is there were no extra trash bags other than the 1 left by the management group and no bags in the bathroom trash cans. Also none of the guest beds had any sheets put on them already so I had to make the beds needed when we arrived after a long travel day. Overall I’d recommend and would love to stay here again if we return to Galveston.

Very welcoming and comfortable beach house for our family vacation.

Island Breeze is a very comfortable, welcoming house with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked with good cookware, cooking utensils, appliances and accessories. The deck has comfortable furnishings, although there is not even a sliver of a view of the Gulf. However, it is a very short walk to the beach. The ground floor/carport area has two nice swings, a grill area and bikes in the garage for guest use. Our family of 4 had a most enjoyable, relaxing stay.

What a great spot for the family to get together. The house is just as advertised easy to find and the beach is right there. We ate at a little local pizza place that was family friendly also. Grilling in the evening as the swings kept the kids rocking. Thank you for having the family get together at your place.

This property is in such a nice neighbord, well kept and stocked with almost everything you need. The DVD player doesn't work, so it would be nice to have it fixed. It is about 3 blocks from the beach, so not a bad walk. We have smaller children so some distance from the water was okay with us. We thought a golf cart would have been nice but that wasn't a deal breaker for us. They did have a wagon, so that helped. Several bikes in the garage that the bigger kids rode to the beach. All kinds of beach toys to use, including boogie boards. Love the swings, tables grills and games on the bottom level. There was a loose spindle on the staircase that a little one could fall through, but we called management and they plan to repair it. They were very nice. The house inside is very nice and feels roomier than the square footage because the layout is good. The kids loved the bunkbeds but you do have to make them up yourself upon arrival. The kitchen has everything you need. The upper porch is nice but fans would nice. Overall great stay. Thanks for sharing your property.

We enjoyed our stay at Island Breeze. House was clean, nice neighborhood and not too far from the beach. Had a good time riding the bikes they provided.
