Ironbark Beach House Carrickalinga

Staying alone, I found it hard to relax at night without curtains blocking the view into the living room from the street. It's a really quiet area, there wasn't likely to be anyone out there and there are a few plants in-between but I found it uncomfortable with the full height windows.The house was lovely, clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. Sue's communication was really helpful when I had queries prior to booking.

Great location a short walk from the beach. House with good seclusion from street & neighbours. Spacious, well appointed kitchen/living area separating bed/bathrooms for privacy when desired. Couldn’t ask for more.

Great beach house close walk to beach and surrounding areas we and our dogs enjoyed our stay and will be back.The house and yard are perfect for dogs to run out side and play in secure backyard that held plenty of interest for them. The house is with carpet nice hard floors easy to keep clean.The owner Sue was easy to contact and communicate with.

Great location and well set out and clean accommodation. Perfect for pets with a large fenced back garden and a short walk to the stunning Carrickalinga beach. Easy communication and check in.

Lovely hostess; communicated well and very flexible. House in a beautiful location. Our two dogs enjoyed the backyard. Very spacious for the two of us. We stayed two weeks and I missed not having internet, a smart TV and an oven...but the beaches were beautuful with much less evidence of algae bloom than Adelaide beaches. And only a 5 min walk! Thank you!

Great property, close to the beach and surrounded by nature. Well presented and maintained. Dual master bedrooms and en-suites were fantastic for friends travelling together. Brilliant notes from host.

Tidy coastal dwelling

I am unaware of this property being in a national park however we had a lovely stay, the house was light, airy, tidy and comfortable and only a short walk to the beach.

We had a lovely stay for our family holiday, nice and close to the beach and had everything we needed.

Quiet location was as described tidy and neat with all facilities required handy to have 2 bathrooms

Lovely little house and the perfect place to holiday with family and our two small dogs. Great communication from owners - had a small issue with property but owners were super quick to rectify and kept me informed the whole time. We will be back.

Another great holiday at Carrickalinga. Enjoyed the morning and evening walks, going to the beach and relaxing!

The house has a very functional layout with a good yard for dogs. Just remember to take your own quilts and blankets in addtion to sheets. A few more basic provisions such as tissues, tea and coffee would make this place extra special. The host is kind and accomodating. We had a nice stay.

Property was generally clean and very tidy. Had what we needed for a short get away.

A clean and tidy home, the website didn't clearly state that there were no blankets or quilts, we were lucky to have nearby family who could provide them for us.

Just the right size for us. Our jack russell enjoyed running around the large back yard. Would have appreciared made up beds with a doona. Enjoyed our stay

Our dog loved the backyard she was right at home. The property itself was adequate, and 850 meters walk to the beach. Soo quiet at night. Needs blinds or curtains on front glass doors for more privacy.

I was overjoyed with our stay, IronBark Beach House was everything I wanted for our celebration of 50 years wedding anniversary. The location is perfect, close to the beach even our dog enjoyed the free run on the beach. The house is well set up for two couples or families with the 2 ensuite bathrooms. A lovely bright house with glorious bird song & many trees to give a feeling of total privacy from the neighbours & road. A well thought out kitchen, it had everything we needed. Oh, and just wait to see the large, colourful art work mural in the dinning space ! I loved it, so appropriate for a beach house, a very unique piece. Thank you for our great memorable stay of 3 days in September.
