Inviting holiday home near the beach - Voelklip

This upmarket vacation home is situated in a quiet residential street in Voelklip, one of the best parts of Hermanus.

The house is a three-minute car drive from Grotto Beach, Kammabaai and the other beaches of Voelklip. The well-known restaurant Lizette's Kitchen and Fernkloof Nature Reserve are just a few minutes' walk away, and the town center is five minutes away by car.

The house is equipped to European standards, has fiber internet and a solar system with large batteries to bridge power outages and load shedding.

In addition to three bedrooms, the house has two bathrooms (one en suite and one guest bathroom), a large living room with couch and TV, an eat-in kitchen with adjoining dining area and a closed fireplace as well as a large and covered outdoor area with seating for lounging and dining including a large barbecue. There is also a smaller garden area with a playhouse.

Children are also catered for in other ways - the children's room has a selection of toys. A couple of bodyboards are also available for children to have fun in the waves on the beach..

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, a SMEG coffee machine, a Nespresso machine, a microwave and an electric oven.

You can stream your own channels (Netflix etc) and own movies on the large TV via an Apple TV unit. The house also has a Bose internet radio that you can program to your liking by installing the Bose Soundtouch app on your smartphone.

There are two parking spaces on the property. Further parking spaces can be found in the street in front of the house at any time.

The house is located in a very safe area. It is nevertheless equipped with a modern alarm system as a precautionary measure and is completely surrounded by walls. A security company can be called at the touch of a button and will be on site within minutes.

There is a small laundry room equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The house's solar and battery system is large enough to bridge any power outages (load shedding). Only the electric oven cannot be used during blackouts.

The house is under new management since 2025. It is looked after by our esteemed agents Michelle and Corné Smith from Firefly Villas, who are your local contacts and will be on hand with help and advice if need be. If you wish to have the house cleaned in between, please contact Michelle or Corné; you will have to pay for this yourself.
