Attractions and Activities

Kangaroo Island is a pristine wilderness – a place that has offered protection to substantial populations of native Australian animals, a place of beauty and a place of escape.

Kangaroo Island (or ‘KI’ as the locals call it) is also big and surprisingly diverse. If you traverse its 155km length you’ll find soaring cliffs, dense bush land, towering sand dunes, wetlands and massive arcs of bone white beach.

Kangaroo Island is a true wildlife sanctuary. The Island has been spared the damage done by foxes and rabbits, ensuring the integrity of native bushland. Result Animal and bird populations have thrived. Today, more than one-third of the Island is declared Conservation or National Park and it has five significant Wilderness Protection Areas. So Kangaroo Island continues to be a special and protected place.

Wildlife surrounds Kangaroo Island. The ocean is teeming with fish, sea lions and little penguin colonies. Stand on the shore in the cooler months and watch migrating southern right whales and their calves.

House was in great shape and well appointed. Some very interesting art. Because it was on a rise at water's edge, we had great views out, and saw dolphins swim by a few times. Easy communication with host.

Our overseas friends from North Carolina were not disappointed. Came to see wild life and wild places and did not disappoint. Hope to return with our children and grandchildren in the not too distant future.

Infinity is an outstanding and nicely appointed home. Beds are comfortable with no dips in the mattresses. Plenty of blankets for each bed. Bathrooms have good showers and are quite modern. The house was really well stocked with plenty of basic necessities like tea, coffee, sugar washing detergent, toilet paper etc. and plenty more not usually provided. There is everything you need in the way of tableware, cutlery and pots and pans. For slow days there are literally hundreds of games in the cupboard. Location and vista is fantastic. Jo is a very responsive host and we would definately stay here again. Final word - OUTSTANDING.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the house is amazing. It has everything you need and more. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace looking out to the sea with no disturbances (the property is right on the seashore) is unbeatable. Jo is very helpful as well. If we return to KI we will definitely book this place again.

This was probably the best holiday our family has ever experienced! KI has so much to offer then to come home to a place like this really topped things off!! Would not have changed a single thing about this trip. Thanks KI and Jo for the experience.
