Indian Wells Oasis w/ Pool: Walk to Tennis Garden!

Firstly I need to thank Robin our host…. She went above and beyond her job and a big thank you to her. The house had positives and negatives…. Great location and pool area was private and secluded which we were looking for, the negatives are directed to homeowner ….. a very expensive home to rent and we expected more, the house is defo in need of a total upgrade from carpets to showers which were not up to standard. We wouldn’t recommend staying here until upgrades have been done

When we first arrived at the house the pool and heater were not working. They rectified the problem and the homeowner is refunding us for the 2 days it took to fix the heater. The location of the home is in a very quiet area. The back yard, pool and hot tub was an enjoyable place for all of us. With lots of privacy. We would definitely come back to this home.

Sitting outside at the pool was very pretty. Especially at night with all the lights they have on the property.

The house is very conveniently located for travel within the area to the Empire Polo Fields as well as the local shopping areas on 111. Our crew really enjoyed the house and the amenities of the backyard pool, spacious seating areas and the nightime lighting made it relaxing. The living room was super comfy with the high ceilings, nice sofas and open plan. Would definitely consider returning.

Our liaison person, Robin, was very responsive and tried her best to make anything right that wasn’t right. However this house is on the older side and it really wasn’t ready for primetime. The 2 good things - it’s spacious and the kitchen was surprisingly well equipped and perfectly nice, except for one thing - it was dirty. The counters were dirty, the garbage can lid had leftover food on it and the freezer had bits of food at the bottom. Other negatives: The television. It was an older “new” television. There were four (dusty) remote controls with absolutely no instructions. Robin tried to get instructions from the owner who said there were none and just press this and that. I spent quite a while on FaceTime with Robin trying to get Netflix up and running to no avail. Later I called my son who managed to semi-figure out how to do it, but that’s not a great situation. On both televisions, I had to sign the owner out of her own account. Needless to say it wasn’t possible to stream anything from my phone since it was an older TV. There is carpeting in the sink and bathtub area of the primary bath. The bed in the primary bedroom is seriously so high that I needed to pull a chair over to get into the bed!! The fan over the bed starting leaking rain water one night.(!!!) The very elaborate coffee table in the living room is quite a statement, but all the little nooks and crannies were dusty. There was an uncovered outlet in the second bedroom and sluggish toilets. The hair dryer in the primary bath looked like it was covered with white mold. Luckily I found another one in the other bathroom. There were icky old wire strainers in primary bath sinks. There was minimal toilet paper, (but lots of tissue boxes?) 1 inch of shampoo in the primary bath, some hand soap containers down to the bottom, 2 laundry pods left (but there were these interesting paper detergent things). The overall problem was trying to rent a house without making some improvements.

This home offered everything we could have wanted for our family to enjoy the sites of PalmDesert and the swimming pool. The bedrooms had the variety of bed sizes we needed. Large dining tables inside and outside. Beautiful area surrounding the pool.

House was very nice- comfy beds, great area that was very quiet. Pool, hot tub, and outdoor furniture was great.

Easy does it!

Absolutely loved the house. Great location. The pool and hot tub were amazing. We'll be back!
