Of course, there’s no shortage of family-friendly activities when staying closer to home. Take advantage of the provided kayaks and paddleboards to explore the lake directly outside your door. There are also outdoor children’s games, bikes, a sand pit with toys, and board games so everyone can gather on the large patio, share laughs, and make memories while soaking up some sun. The deck is ideal for grilling up a hearty feast or sipping local brews around the firepit as the sun goes down. Even better, indulge in s’mores under the stars and unwind in the hot tub, letting the starlight illuminate the breathtaking lake view.

Inside, you’ll be greeted by open-concept, sun-soaked interiors and ample plush seating. Snuggle up on the expansive sectional for family movie night or sip some cocoa by the fireplace. Take pleasure in dining alongside wall-to-wall windows, mesmerized by the waves just outside. Don’t miss out on the well-furnished game room complete with a pool table, Ping-pong table, and retro arcade games. After a great day of mountain adventure, retire to your cozy bedroom with deluxe linens, charming decor, and private balcony access. Experience ultimate relaxation while watching the sunset, or simply rest in your pleasurable surroundings, knowing another day of alpine paradise awaits.

Additional amenities include beach gear, Traeger smoker grill, central air conditioning, and a washer/dryer, while kid-friendly extras like a Pack 'n Play, high chair, kids utensils, castle sofa, and four extra pull-out mattresses add convenience during your stay.

Wonderful home, great location, very well stocked home, plenty of space, good access to activities. Front door code only worked occasionally. Communication with VRBO about bikes and grill was quite frustrating, and I had to show them the listing to get their help.

This is a great place. We have a few minor suggestions. It would be awesome to have the kitchen organized and labeled. There were cutting boards in about 5 places. Other things were random. It was well stocked. We asked if there was a crock pot and were told no but there was and also a insta pot. It was awesome to have them but would be nice to know they were there. There is one bathroom upstairs without a lock. The lawn was actually too wet. One kitchen stool has a broken rung. We don’t know if we did it or it was already that way.We really did have a great time. We just had a few suggestions.

Our family really loved this house. We loved being close to the lake, and the large outside back yard. There was a lot of room for us to be together and also space to be in smaller groups. I would recommend it and stay there again.

We were a little bit hesitant about this home after reading a couple of reviews, but it turned out to be a very nice, and well stocked property. Our family (of about 20 adults) plans a Bear Lake weekend every year. For the last 6 years, we've stayed in a different house every time, trying to find THE home that we will rent every year. So far, this one was our favorite. We really liked the comfortable and spacious kitchen and living room. Eating meals all together was comfortable, even for 20 adults. The house is nicely decorated and all the appliances worked well and seemed pretty new. The carpet is comfy and most everything felt high end. The location is great, it's only about a mile from the center of Garden City, so restaurants are close by. The lake is also very close, but don't expect to walk right into the water, as the lake is usually not high enough to be closer than about 50 yards away (and you'll have to brave a very muddy walk to get to it). But the views are gorgeous, and relaxing on the lawn was our favorite activity. The neighbors weren't too happy about us being there (they came over and scolded us for having a car parked on the grass (barely), but I suppose you can't blame them for having to put up with constant rental tenants all summer long. The home has a lot of really nice features: -A generator: the power in Garden City actually went out during our stay, so this was awesome! -Well stocked kitchen: the kitchen had everything we needed, including zip lock bags, Saran Wrap, spices, lots of dishes and pans, and even a handy countertop oven with air fryer. Yard and lake toys: there are several nice Adirondack chairs on the lawn, a fire pit, hot tub, kayaks and other toys. Our only gripe was that the upstairs beds were not very comfortable. For kids they'd be fine, but for a grown adult, it was borderline miserable. Overall we loved the property and may book it again next year.

From booking to checkout, our stay was simply perfect. The beautiful home is clean and well-stocked with everything one might need from kitchen gadgets to games and plenty of towels to dry off and clean up after your aquatic adventures. Zero complaints, other than we may be ruined for future family vacations because I’m not sure we could top this!

This property could be a 4 or 5 stars if it was maintained properly. There’s a lot of positives but there were a few negatives issues that made it unenjoyable. Vacasa tried their best to resolve all issues. They responded quickly to all/any complaints or issues.Just very frustrating considering the price we paid. Some things are inexcusable. Like no AC on one side of the house, hot tub broken, dirty, and unorganized upon arrival, glass shards on bedroom floor. Property owners need to do their due diligence to make the place as renters would expect for the price they charge. They have a nice fire pit, paddle boards, kayaks, well stocked kitchen with sharp knives, smoker grill, comfy beds and bedding, multiple wash stations outside ( one with hot water ) to rinse mud off. Washer and dryer worked well. Overall we did enjoy our stay. We would book again.

Great Bear Lake retreat. Cozy home with everything you need for a great stay. Quick stroll to get to the lake (little mucky but that’s part of the adventure). There are two hoses for outside cleanups. Traeger grill worked like a charm. We ended each night with a relaxing soak in the hot tub. There are two kitchens, so plenty of room for food storage and prep area. We ate all our meals at the house so this was a huge plus for us. Shops are close by…the main road is a bit busy so be aware. The driveway was a bit difficult to find…there is a black mailbox directly across from it. Keep your eyes peeled for it. We would definitely return to this lakehouse.

This place was amazing for our annual family trip to Bear Lake. We usually rent a cabin in the mountains, but decided to try this lakefront home this year and we were so glad we did! The house was perfect for our family of 13. It was very well stocked and everything was very clean. He loved having use of the kayaks, and our young children loved their own little “private beach” and spent hours playing in the sand . We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub and relaxing on the comfy patio chairs, and the convenience of being right there on the lakefront. Thank you for sharing your home!

The house is perfectly located on the lake and close to town. The house is stocked well and with enough room for multiple families or groups. We were able to spend time on the lake and relax and come in for games, etc. when the weather turned on us one afternoon. So glad we had this house so it was easy to maneuver changes in weather and when people wanted to do different activities. Great home, great weekend, very comfortable.

Stayed at this great house right on the water with 3 other families (8 adults, 11 kids from a baby to teenagers). This place was stocked to accommodate our large group and had a good layout for 4 families (parents had our own rooms and kids got to sleepover together in the bunk rooms). Loved the easy water access and gorgeous lakefront views, especially at sunset. The kids also loved playing in the sandy “beach” out front, and we all enjoyed dips in the hot tub to warm up after time in the lake. The awesome location also allowed us to walk to the nearby park and to town for raspberry shakes. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home in an incredible location. Kitchen has everything you need and then some. There was plenty to do for everyone and ample common space to spread out when we needed some quiet time. When we were there, there were 2 inflatable paddleboards and 3 double kayaks to use on the lake with life jackets, all in great condition. We are already planning a return trip next year. The “gas grill” listed is actually a Traeger smoker, so plan accordingly.

This house was such a great spot for our gathering! Just be aware that there is only parking for 6 cars and one boat trailer. It was super tight. Also, the part of the home above the garage (second living room and large bedroom) has no air conditioning so it was really warm up there.). Overall, a great place!!
