Incredible beach front house on very private beach

We've stayed at many VRBO's and own one ourselves. This was by far the best location we've been to. The property is well laid out for a family or small group looking to relax. We had everything we needed and found a great little shopping center with a good grocery store about 5 minutes South of the house. We only had only small issue (the lock was a little rusty as it's a beach house) and the handyman called us back within 2 minutes and it was taken care of. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place, as we only ran into a few neighbors and they were very nice.

Our communication with our host was great. The home was quite comfortable and we enjoyed the privacy and quiet beach.

Incredible property with very kind and accommodating host. We were there for Thanksgiving and Paul even ordered special cookware to facilitate dinner preparation. We watched seals and dolphins from the upper and lower levels, spent time on the very private beach and enjoyed amazing sunrises and sunsets. We very much look forward to our next visit!

Great location on the beach. Host (owner) communicative throughout. Ideal house for a couple of families. The downstairs level has a separate entrance from the upper living room, kitchen and bedrooms. Perfect for a family of grandchildren running in and out. The atmospheric river provided us with 5 days of rain. We loved every second of our stay. The heat was not working in the upper levels but many warm blankets kept us warm and snuggly. My 5 grandchildren and two sons were celebrating my 80 birthday. It was simply extraordinary we never saw any other people. The privacy was complete and provided just what we were seeking.

5 star location! Incredible views! I've stayed on the beach in Malibu for years. This house is on a private road away from PCH - so quiet! And further north from the crowds, easier to relax, yet only 7 minutes from 2 grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and Zuma. Sunsets, star gazing, stunning beach and only a few dozen homes nearby. Maybe saw 2-3 people per day walking on the beach.Paul has the place FULLY equipped - lots of beach towels, beach chairs, etc. Kitchen has everything and the grill was perfect! Great water pressure and hot! There are two bedrooms, living/dining/kitchen upstairs. There is a separate master suite, also with a kitchen, downstairs. To access each level, you go outside up a few stairs on either end of the house. Not a big deal. Patio was amazing, upstairs deck was perfect at sunsets, and the beach was very easily accessible and dry about 3/4 of the tide cycle - also rare in Malibu. Two car garage for small SUV's/mid sized sedans. Larger cars have secure parking right inside the gated entrance up a steep hill, but only 50-100 yards away.Really, can't think of much I'd change. Maybe a few cosmetic updates, but that is minor. WiFi was great! Cell service was occasionally spotty, typical for western Malibu. This is a terrific place and Paul was an attentive, available host - even dropped in to check on us after we arrived. I wouldn't hesitate to go again - it is rarified air around there!

Our 4 night stay was nothing short of INCREDIBLE! This lovely beach front home offered our family a VERY PRIVATE sandy beach which our family enjoyed VERY MUCH! We will definetly return to this AMAZING property! The owner-Paul was also very easy to work with and was quick to answer any questions we had. This private beach home is a TRUE GEM!

The house is located on the beach in a quiet and private area of West Malibu. The large sliding glass doors and outside deck gives you the feeling you are on the beach. The local breezes keep you cool and refreshed.From the living room you can watch the dolphins and pelicans cruise by. Close by are great restaurants, hikes and things to do.The communication with Paul was easy and amazing.Do yourself a favor and stay here!

What an amazing place at the end of a gated road. Very quiet neighborhood. Paul was responsive and the check-in super easy. Only our full size SUV would not fit in the garage and we had to park within the gated area but uphill at road level. Which was a short walk but uphill. The beach was lonely and just beautiful.

We had a great stay - the house is right on the beach. It’s very private - only a handful of houses on this cove, so we felt that we had a great, restorative stay with the ocean all to ourselves! Thank you Paul. I hopeTo come back soon!

Paul was friendly, communicative and accommodating! House and stay was as described - lovely location and had all the necessities available. Only thing I would have liked to know in advance is how rocky the water itself. Was rough to actually get in the water without water shoes. Overall, wonderful stay!

Have stayed here multiple times and the location cannot be beat. Quick access to groceries and restaurants. Most importantly for us, the house itself is private and right on the beach. You take a very short few stairs right to the sand and can walk along El Sol beach. Lots of seals and dolphins to watch play in the surf and tide pools with anemone and other creatures to explore.

Super location!
