We tacked on a vacation after some appointments in Boston. It has been almost 5 years since we took a vacation and we chose this property because of its stunning location and pet friendly accommodations as we have a Senior Dog. Prior to our trip, Robin, the host promptly answered many of my questions pertaining to our stay. After a weary and somewhat stressful drive down, we were greeted with a beautiful view of Cape Cod Bay. The host kindly accommodated an early check in for us. We made the most of the sunny weather and headed down to the beach. There are many stairs so our elderly dog was not able to go down to the beach ( we knew this in advance). The weather for the rest of the week did not cooperate unfortunately ( foggy, rainy) but we made the most of it. We were able to explore a little of the area when it was not raining. It cleared up just in time for our departure! Robin did offer us an extra free night but we were unable to take her up on her offer ( we did stay for an extra few hours however). Overall, the house was very nice. It is an older home so one needs to know that in advance (which we knew) and it is part of its charm. It was plenty big enough for the 3 of us ( plus our dog). The kitchen had everything you could need and the bedrooms are nice. The hosts seem committed to upgrading the house with new features every year ( we noticed some changes from some of the photos, ie carpeting in bedrooms, painting, etc). We very much enjoyed our stay!

The views and sounds of the ocean were breathtaking and relaxing. For some of us like my granddaughter it was our 1st beach vacation. The community was very welcoming and neighborly. The house was stocked with everything we needed to go beaching and enhance our stay. We miss it already ?

I grew up on the cape but have never encountered this beautiful place. We are going to be forever renters. It’s hard to describe but I had my mother my sister my brother in law.. my college friends and their husbands… it was magical! We made lunch, sat on the beach and chilled. Everyone went home by 9pm. We couldn’t have had a better stay… we look forward to renting again. Honestly… Robin Jereaux rental was outstanding. I hear the property is owned by the Singer family… we took such good care! We look forward to many more visits! An absolute pleasure and joy. Thank you !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the “House by the Sea”. Everything we needed was provided; Lots of cooking utensils, and dishes. The views from the house and the porch were gorgeous. Our hosts were very helpful even coming to our rescue when we locked ourselves out of the house. The house was quite comfortable with plenty of gorgeously decorated rooms and dining and lounging areas. It was hard to leave the cool weather and return to hot Texas. Highly recommend this property.

This was a lovely historic home with so much charm. The views were amazing from sunrise to moonrise. Communication with owner was excellent. Home was clean and equipped with anything needed. The stairs to the beach (148 steps) were so well maintained, with landings & benches to rest if needed. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We had excellent weather and the porch was used daily...to sit & rock & relax. Truly a wonderful spot to distress and rejuvenate. Thank you Robin & John for allowing us to stay in your House By The Sea.

The location and setting of this house are incredible. Gorgeous views from the bluff and an easy walk down the stairs to the beach. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-appointed, too. The property owners were very responsive and were wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend this property to anyone planning a Cape Cod trip!

Our stay here was absolutely magical. The property was beautiful and the views were breathtaking. Robin was a wonderful hostess and was prompt to respond when messaged. We had no issues while staying that required any additional assistance from Robin. The house was full of all the amenities you could think of. To the point that we didn’t have to buy much other than food and drink. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking in the area. We would definitely return!! Tip: Walk the beaches! The views and all the scenery make for wonderful strolls. Also the fire pit in the evenings with the water in the background is so relaxing. Thank you Robin for sharing your home with us!
