Stayed Jan 25, 2026The host is a diamond in the rough. The communication was amazing, and very accommodating given the weather and travel troubles we ran into. Excited to stay again

Stayed Apr 1, 2025The property owners and manager were super communicative and easy to work with. The home was immaculately clean and in a convenient location. My daughter and I were able to relax and sleep well in between sessions at a sports tournament. Check-in and out could not have been easier. Thank you for a great stay!

Stayed Mar 9, 2025We had a pleasant stay when visiting the amazing Strong Museum of Play with our grand children ages 3, 6 and 8. It is also only 2 mins walk to the Genesse Riverway Trail and it's playground. It is old but clean, however has squeaks on the stairs and floor. It has a shared driveway with the neighbor’s house and it was tight, you would require passengers to get off before you parked the car. Grandchildren were very uncomfortable with all the broken glasses when walking around the neighborhood. We did not go out at night so we had no issues. The house is spacious and cozy for our family of 7 including the kids. Thank you for hosting us.

Stayed Aug 14, 2024My husband and I stayed here for a few days to explore the city of Rochester for the first time. This home was lovely, very cozy and warm. The place was very clean and quite well set-up with labels on the all the drawers to easily find ammenities, detailed instructions in the welcome packet, etc.. The host was very responsive to any inquiries and really tried to make our stay as nice as possible. The location was perfect for our needs with easy access to the city's attractions (major recommendations for the Strong Museum of Play and the MAG!) and a wonderful natural foods coop was practically around the corner. We also had our dog with us and found the neighborhood suitable for dog walks and the house very easy for our fur family to navigate as well.:) We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Jun 29, 2024The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room to spread out and not be in each others way and plenty of gathering spaces for us to play games and hang out. We ate out and cooked our meals during our trip, the house was well stocked with any cooking utensils and pans we might need. The owner was great at responding and worked with us to extend our stay. Everything listed is just as stated. No surprises, great listing.

Stayed Dec 30, 2023We had a great stay. The location was nice, centrally located with family we visited being on both the east and west sides of Rochester. Got in a couple of runs right next door on the trails along the Genessee river.

Stayed Oct 7, 2023We have a daughter in college in Rochester and visited for the fall break. The South Wedge location is great -- walkable (when the weather cooperates), close to restaurants, bars and shops and not terribly far from the fantastic Strong Museum. The home is older, so it has its requisite squeaks and creaks in the floorboards, but the bedrooms and bathrooms are generously sized and comfortable. The host, Chris, has thought of just about everything you need for a comfortable stay. The house is on a one-way street, but has off-street parking which -- just a warning if you have an oversized SUV -- is like the street: narrow and tight. The host is the most responsive we've ever had with any rental property and has even made YouTube videos for any questions you might have about how things work. There's a nice patio with lights in the back yard, but the uncooperative western NY weather didn't give us a chance to enjoy it. We also didn't partake of the poker table -- maybe next time!
