Impeccable Cleanliness Family & Pet Friendly Large Deck House Near YYJ & Ferry

This was a great place! We appreciated the tea and coffee, and generous shower products, and the karaoke machine was a kick!

Zoe‘s house had everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay. The house is close to everything. excellent communication from host! Thank you.

Unfortunately when we arrive later at night and tried to get in, someone come to the door and showed us their booking for the place for the night. It was late, we had a dog so looked for a dog friendly hotel asap so we would have somewhere to stay. Unfortunately we were unable to resolve this issue with the owner and thus are out of pocket for the rental. We had no phone number to contact owner. Lesson learned for us!

It was a very easy process communicating with the host, as well as checking in. We would have liked to know before going that dogs weren’t allowed on the bed. Otherwise we quite enjoy the house and the fireplace.

This VRBO was everything we hoped it would be. Communication with the host was easy and aways prompt. The house was clean, well equipped, and the layout really worked for us. Good location in a nice neighborhood. We would certainly go there again.

Very quaint and situated within a beautiful townsite. Handy to downtown Sidney and the Swartz Bay ferries. The home was well stocked with household and cleaning items, with two smart TVs and wifi connections. Especially enjoyed the family-book room. The host was very responsive to communication.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Zoe‘s place. There was lots of room for us to spread out and have our own private spaces, as well as a large living room for gathering together.

Our stay at Zoe’s was perfect! It was the ideal spot to have my friends bachelorette (with Zoe’s permission! Thank you again!!) and get ready for the wedding. The inside space was more than enough room for all of us and the outside was an awesome bonus! We didn’t get to try the karaoke machine, but even still, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Zoe was flexible and accommodating with my last minute requests and so quick to respond to any questions I had. If you are looking for somewhere for your family or group of friends to stay, this is the one. Everyone had their own space while still being “together”. The proximity to the ferry and airport were much appreciated for the out of towners and the proximity to Sidney’s many bakeries and coffee shops were a big plus too. A wonderful spot and as relaxing as a pre-wedding can be!

Loved the quiet neighbourhood and easy access to the peninsula

Zoe was very pleasant, timely and helpful in her communication. Nice quiet but walkable location. Lots of great documentation on the house for how to look after it.

House was very well equipped appliances & supplies. The bedding was a bit heavy. Enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the birds. Taxis were very reason transportation.

Our overall stay was very good. Our only request would be to change the TV to cable. The streaming provider was too limiting in terms of live programming such as news programs and we found it too complicated to use easily.

Overall impression was good. Although Netflix and Roku were available, local broadcast television was impossible to access. House rules are emphatic that no cannabis is to be smoked on the property, even outside, so I had to go walk up and down the street to smoke. The cooking utensils were more suited to short stays and occasional meals than long stays and everyday cooking.

The location was perfect, the property was spotless, everything we needed was provided. Good beds, linens, towels and checking in.Can recommend this property to both families and friends.

We had a great time. We liked that the place is near restaurant and amenities. Will definitely consider staying here again and would love to use the little back yard with the b-b-cue.

Loved the fact that the photos and description of the property matched the contents of the home. From start to finish, the host, Zoe, was attentive to our needs, quickly responding to any inquiry both before and during our stay. We were looking for a place to unwind after long working days and this location 'checked' all the boxes. If we ever have the need to return to Vanc. Island, this is our 'go to' place to stay! We enjoyed our time in this house in Sydney. You have the entire house to yourself. It was clean and the neighbourhood was very quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

My first Air B & B experience, and I was happy. Learned to open and close all drawers & cupboards to see what was what. A very complete inventory of anything you might need. My sister-in-law who was with me, thought her room was very cramped, and one of the beds was fine, other was not (she used the fine one). Not fancy but a nice area, close to everything, quiet.

We are 3 friends who like to travel to Sidney on a yearly basis. We have a friend in Saanichton and one of us has a son in Victoria. A place with 2 beds, a sofabed, a kitchen and a sitting area is ideal for us to visit with everyone. We enjoyed the large deck and hopefully will fire up the large gas BBQ for our next visit.
