For some outdoor adventure, you can go water rafting or tubing, or visit the nearby Cataloochee Ski Area and Cataloochee Valley, which offer stunning views of the surrounding wildlife and historic buildings. And if you're in the mood for some entertainment, the Harrah's Casino in Cherokee hosts live music events and offers a relaxing spa and delicious dining options.

The house was beautiful and had plenty of room for our group of 7. The kids especially loved the hot tub.

Wonderful for our ski trip. Everything is as advertised and the host left clear instructions for all amenities. Also, transparent pricing without a ridiculous fee or excessive checkout routine. We will definitely stay here again for our next ski trip.

My only hesitation in providing a fabulous review is that the property might not be available next time I want to come back, because they’re absolutely will be a next time. This truly is a little slice of heaven - just far enough outside of town that you get the best of the mountains, but close to everything you could need. We’ve been coming to Maggie Valley for more than 30 years and it just gets better every time. The layout of the house is fabulous, my kids and I stayed on one side with my parents in the master. The hot tub was a must for my youngest son and the Creek was the icing on the cake. We also enjoyed the fire pit and front porch. These hosts clearly know what they’re doing and have provided absolutely anything and everything you could need to have a fabulous stay. We were so pleasantly surprised to arrive to it festively decorated for Christmas. I’ve already looked at dates to book again next year and look forward to enjoying this wonderful property again.

The house exceeded the expectations we had from the online representation.Abundant pillows, blankets, and picture perfect moments from arrival to departure. They have a booklet that gives info about local highlights and ways to maximise the stay. Not sure where to find the referenced video on managing the hot tub, but i am a simple person and figured it out, and the tub was a highlight of our stay!We had originally planned to be closer to Cherokee, but this spot was less touristy while still having access to anything you want for a comfortable stay.I look forward to bringing friends and family here in the future. Thank you for sharing this gem with us.

This property is absolutely perfect! There is a clean, new hot tub overlooking a large creek. The creek has multiple seating areas, including some right next to the water. Plenty of room, with comfortable beds!

Had some issues with the soft beds, and we unfortunately had some septic tank gases that were coming back into the house.

Not exactly what I expected. It was hard to get to the creek as the property has been neglected. The waterfall was beautiful. Just a short drive away

Entire family had a great trip. Creek is beautiful and truly makes you feel like you are secluded in nature. House is nice and well stocked. Only inconvenience is there is no cell service, WiFi is great though. My family would definitely come again.

Beautiful property and house! The house had a very nice layout (great if you are traveling with older/elderly family members) with lots of items provided for us. The property is also within a 30-50 minute beautiful mountain drive to other areas. We went to Gatlinburg one day and Asheville another day.

Great place to stay for families wanting to visit Smoky Mountain National Park and not wanting to stay near the commercialized areas in the northern part of the park. The property had a hot tub and was right on a creek. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone.

This was a great cabin! We had 2 adults and 3 teens and had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed for a few more nights to enjoy the area. Cataloochee ski was about 15 minutes from the property. The boys loved the hot tub! The cabin was super clean and decorated so cute. Definitely will stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at this mountain cabin in Waynesville. The cabin was well-appointed and very well-maintained, providing a cozy and comfortable environment. The Christmas-themed decor and lights were a nice festive touch that added to the charm. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean, and it was clear that attention had been given to the small details. Access to the cabin was easy, and its proximity to the ski resort—just a 7-10 minute drive—was incredibly convenient. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, which was well-kept and a great way to relax. The creek flowing in the front yard added a peaceful and serene vibe to the property. Overall, this cabin was a great choice for a mountain getaway, and we’d happily recommend it to others!

Carl was a fantastic host and thought of everything. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedroom and living room furniture were super comfy. The hot tub provided much welcome relief foe our tired and sore legs after hiking in the National Park. Sitting by the creek was also a fantastic way to relax. I highly recommend this property. It offers you easy access to the National Park and the Blue Ridge mountains while still providing a quiet secluded place to relax.

Nice house Pros - great creek, home design and hot tub. Cons - restrooms and kitchen had a sewage smell on our last 2 days. Wifi and 5g only sometimes worked. No laundry supplies.
