Immaculate Shanty Creek/Schuss Mountain Resort Home

Host was excellent, communicated a lot, and answered all our questions. House was as described, nicely equipped and laid out. We were 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids) Would definitely return!

The house was spacious and beautiful. Great for our older kids to have the bottom floor and we were upstairs. House was nicely stocked with toilet paper and paper towel. Supplies to do laundry. Nicely stocked with cooking supplies. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Host was available for anything we needed and responded quickly.

The house was very clean and comfortable. Communication with the owner was really good.

Great property, well suited for larger families. We were there primarily to ski and it's a great location but there's plenty of other things to do at Schuss / Shanty. Host is great, good communication, checked in . with us to see if we needed anything. House is clean and well stocked, as advertised!

Our family had a great week at this secluded home. It was clean and well-maintained. The owner was easy to work with and made a point of ensuring that we enjoyed our stay. Having four bedrooms and three baths provided plenty of room for our group.

Five siblings and two spouses spent the week in Bellaire at thís amazing cottage. This reunion has been happening for decades. This cottage could not have been any better equipped. Matt is so easy to work with.

Location was perfect and the space fit my family's needs perfectly

This was our favorite family vacation of all time. The house was the perfect size for our family, and was as advertised. Matt was in constant contact ahead of check-in to make sure we were good with directions & instructions. He followed up several times on check-in day to ensure we were able to gain access to the house and that everything was up to expectation. The house was very clean and well kept. The house is on the Shanty Creek resort, with access to several nearby golf courses, a beach club, pool, and local shopping. It is the PERFECT location for anyone looking to visit Northern Michigan (LP). Sleeping Bear Dunes and Mackinac Island are both within an hour and a half - making for great day trips. The kids also really enjoyed using the ping-pong table every night. Matt also checked in during the week to see how things were going, as well as to help us through the check-out process. Matt is an awesome host, and we will definitely be looking to stay here again on our visit next summer! Thanks Matt!!

House was perfect for what we needed. Well equipped, clean and communication was good with host. Nice and quiet, you could barely see the neighbors.

This house is beautiful, secluded, and well maintained. It is clean and located close to stores, little town area of bellair which includes coffee shops, restaurants, grocery etc . The set up is perfect if you are traveling with another couple / kids, since the downstairs is private and separate from the upstairs so it kind of felt like a little apartment without a kitchen downstairs. Since this house is located in a heavily wooded area i will say there were quite a few little bugs on walls and in bedrooms in the downstairs area, but we kind of expected that if we seen them, we just got rid of them, that did not ruin anything about the house. We would rent this place again. The house had toilet paper, towels, kitchen has everything you need with pots, pans, even an air fryer! We really enjoyed our stay and the fact it was so close to Torch Lake was awesome !!!
