Immaculate and well maintained home on SSB! NEW for 2024 upgraded kitchen!

We loved staying here and having so much space for our family to enjoy.

The Breakaway was a perfect rental home for our large family get together. Beautiful, clean, updated and very comfortable a super spacious. I would highly recommend!

This was our second year at Breakaway because we absolutely loved it there last year!!!! We’ve been staying on Sunset Beach since 2020, but Breakaway is by far OUR favorite!!

It’s like coming home. We know where everything is and we are comfortable here.

We had a wonderful stay at The Breakaway! The house was clean, the kitchen well-stocked, there were plenty of bathrooms for folks to use plus an outside shower for rinsing sand off when coming back to beach. Even though linens/towels aren’t provided it wasn’t a big deal for us. It was a few minutes walk to the beach, market and shops. Lorelei was great to work with and very responsive and our family had a wonderful time:)

We started staying at this house in 2019 after renting on 36th street for 30+ years. Our 6th stay was just as wonderful as the past 5. The house is perfect for a family with young kids, as it’s close to the beach and has ample space for all. The kitchen is fully stocked and boasted some nice updates since last summer. The owner is extremely communicative and very responsive to any questions or concerns (but we never have concerns). My boys refer to The Breakaway as our “Sunset Beach house” and it would be hard to stay anywhere else! Another week that we were all sad to see come to an end. Thank you, Lorelei!

The house was very clean and updated. It is within minutes walking distance to the beach and access to the beach was very easy. The rooftop deck and screened in porch were enjoyable. AC works very well. (We went during a very hot week) Also an added benefit, this beach is the quietest beach area I have ever stayed. Very peaceful and relaxing. Overall a very nice place and would highly recommend.

Perfect place to create lasting childhood memories!

This was our second stay here and didn't disappoint. We'll be staying here again.
