Ile de Ré: Villa 5 bedrooms,heated pool ,200m from the beach

A lovely property. Much larger than it first seems. Ideally positioned for beach, market and shops and an easy cycle to La Flotte and St Martin.

The property is great, it has a lovely courtyard setting with a heated swimming pool, the living space is plentiful and the location is perfectly split between the market and beach.

Family of 4 with 2 adult children. This worked so well with accommodation, everyone was happy . A really lovely villa , internally and externally. Tha pool was such a bonus and a good size . Location was perfect. Lots of great cycling and walks along the beach . Would definitely come back again.

This house is beautiful. It’s very convenient to have a bathroom for every bedroom. 2 min from the beach walking distance. 5 min from the town market, grocery store, pharmacy, boulangerie walking distance. Perfect house for your family reunions.

My family and I go to the Ile de Re every year having lived in the region previously it is a favourite place for us. The villa was a beautiful place very close to the beach however it is in need of some serious care. There were 9 of us and there was a surplus mattress that we were told they did not know where it should go so we would have to lean it against the wall in a bedroom being used for the duration. There was a graveyard of broken loungers at the back and not enough to service our party. All the rooms had a strong smell of mould/ fusty , so much that clothes not worn smelt so strong on our return. We were also left with the rubbish of the previous residents and asked to dispose of this? In addition we were unable to have a barbecue as it was dirty and had grease and food still on it. The villa is beautiful and in a perfect spot so it is such a shame that it has been run down like this. I would also question what the money we had to pay for the service was used for as it was clearly dirty and full of broken equipment.
