Il Sogno was everything we hoped for and more! Maria was very quick to respond to our questions and was so helpful in both her check-in and check-out information. The house itself was spectacular with a gourmet kitchen that had literally everything we needed for our family's Thanksgiving dinner. The game room and theater were big hits with our boys and the hot tub was squeaky clean and so cozy when the snow fell. We highly recommend Il Sogno and will definitely return in the very near future!

We had the pleasure of staying in Maria & Vince's lovely home in August. We knew we were someplace special when we arrived to find a family of deer in the yard! It only got better from there - pictures of home are amazing, but it was even better in person - rooms were large and spacious, beautifully decorated with top quality furniture/appliances. Perfect place to reconnect with family and relax, from morning coffees on deck, enjoying large yard and surrounding nature, playing games and movie nights - highly recommend! We had a great stay, the house was clean and very organized. There is an excellent game room and home theater that kept our kids occupied throughout our trip. We had planned to visit a local place to Ski but the kids enjoyed the game room so much that we changed our plans. Owner's made the stay very easy, they helped coordinate our arrival and made the use of all the amenities very easy to understand. Also, the owners were available and easy to reach when we had any questions regarding the property. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Myself and some friends from college with spouses and two kids stayed here for a long weekend. The house was absolutely perfect, everything was found clean and organized, the kitchen was very well stocked, and there were endless activities available at the house to entertain everyone. The owner was great, communicated throughout the trip and responded to any questions or issues immediately. We would definitely stay here again! For the local area. We went to the two breweries in Hawley, Wallenpaupack Brewing and Hopping Eagle, the former also has food. We also went to 3 Hammers Winery. All three were very good. On the way there we stopped at Kalahari for the kids and another couple stopped at Ski Big Bear for skiing. We tried Honesdale but was underwhelmed. (Trip was in the winter months)

This house exceeded our expectations from the very beginning! There was so much space and everything you needed (especially in the kitchen). The bathrooms were updated & luxurious and the basement entertained our family (4 couples altogether) every night of the week. We had an absolute blast with memories to last a lifetime. This was all of our first times to that area and we were all very happy with the location of the house in proximity to everything we did and needed. So close to Lake Wallenpaupack and also close to grocery stores, restaurants, cvs, ice cream, etc! The host provided an amazing brochure with so much information of things to do with the mileage and direct links and she was very easy to communicate with. This house is truly an oasis and we would, for sure, rent again!

House was better than expected. Fully stocked kitchen as in every single pot/pan/dish/glass/gadget/tools and even coffee k-cups, salt, pepper, lots of seasonings and oil/vinegar. Came in handy for our family Thanksgiving we celebrated while staying here, especially the 2 ovens. The upstairs loft was great for our teen to have her own space and bedroom (just keep in mind no bathroom up there). The downstairs Master was beautiful, spacious and had a top of the line bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms were comfortable (1 with a Queen and 1 with a Full) shared a nice hall bath (not a lot of storage for 4 adults and a teenager sharing it). Fortunately there's an amazing basement full bath if you don't mind the walk downstairs as well as a 1/2 bath in the laundry room area on the other side of the kitchen. The wood burning fireplace in the Living Room was where we spent a lot of our time playing games and hanging out. The Hot tub was perfect and very spacious, easy to use and not too far of a run on a chilly night. The firepit was further than I thought but very well set up. The outside decks were well furnished but with the colder temps when we were there we didn't get to use. The BEST part was the amazing basement, better than described, WOW! The movie room is the the best, so comfortable. The bar area has a slushie machine, popcorn machine, fridge/freezer, more glassware, shakers, counter ice maker and so much more. There's a pool table, air hockey table, karaoke machine, a card playing area and loads of vintage arcade games/pinball machines and more. Perfect to keep the whole family entertained. You can tell the house is well cared for and nicely decorated. Location is so close to the lake and downtown Hawley only about 5 minutes or so although you'll never actually need to leave the house!

House is completely as advertised with a responsive and friendly host. We had a great time utilizing all of the fun amenities and the location was so close to grocery stores, pizza places and Dunkin! We had the perfect stay for our group of 10.
