Idyllic woodsy retreat with firepit, two kitchens, Port Susan views & woodstoves

Everything was fine with the cleaning, except there was quite a bit of trash under the sofas and some coffee stains on the walls.

The houses are large enough for our group of 11, we had thanksgiving here. I guess I don’t love the two home setup - it was nice to have 2 ovens for baking but the rest was just a lot of back and forth and neither table could quite seat our whole group. But that’s just personal preference. The houses are nice and the view is lovely, we walked down the rugged trail to the beach which was a hangout of seals watching us from the water. The kitchens - bring everything you need (there was a little oil and salt and pepper there.) We had some issues with things not working right, hopefully those will be fixed. There is brand new construction very close to the house that shares the driveway. The bad - Check-in. Getting there after dark (5pm gasp) with no directions except a link to google maps and having the wrong codes to get in was a frustrating start. I wish they included some checkin directions - calling Vacasa and not someone who knows the property meant they were reading instructions but couldn’t answer my questions. And I’m not sure why they won’t just send the door codes, everyone does that. They only sent a lock box code (to an empty lockbox.) We only got into unit B with a key and were texted the door code later. I was frustrated with the customer service from Vacasa (the local contact seemed nice, not her fault). I’ll try to avoid booking with homes that are operated through them in the future.

The two houses provided our family with plenty of space. Property needs a little TLC. Overlook of Port Susan Bay is beautiful! Very peaceful and quiet.

Quirky houses. Worked great for family reunion. Responsive property manager. Wish the outside areas had been cleaned.

The place worked out great. The house A lock didn’t lock or unlock. Not a huge issue but couldn’t lock the place when we left for the day. If the cleaners hadn’t left a door open we would not have been able to get in. Other than that it worked out great.

Great house(s) for our group of 16. Nice to have two separate spaces. Beds were great. Check in code is not for door but lock box. Rugs could stand a good cleaning. We would return again

Loved the quirky layout

Although it is an older home, the view and location were great. Very spacious and plenty of room for our party of 12. Thank you.

Plenty of space & privacy worked out well for our large group. The property does need some minor maintenance - landscaping, decks and gutters appear somewhat neglected. There were a few carpet stains & broken toilets. The location was very nice.

I came with a lot of my family members, 15 of us in total, and there was plenty of room! The houses were both great, the view in the back is beautiful as well. If I had to find something negative thing to say about the property it would be that they could use a few more lawn games or something like that - but otherwise it was perfect for our little vacation. Beach access is a little treacherous, definitely don’t recommend making the journey down there if you’re not okay with a somewhat difficult hike back up. There was also a small structure under construction near the front of the property and that was being worked on one of the days we were there - so if you’re expecting quiet, I could see that being an issue. However it didn’t really bother us
