Idyllic thatched cottage in close proximity to the beach

Great house, big garden, wonderful nature around.

Only thing i missed was a nespresso machine So i brought my own

We had a wonderful time in this cozy house. It is in an ideal location, with a lovely dune walk to the beach and direct access to great bike trail just down the street.

We, the family of four spent only a few days in Buren, Ameland, but it was enough to fall in love with the pristine beauty of the island. The “Beauty” house located on such a privileged part of the island, contributed to this wonderful feeling of quietness and enchantment. Walking to the sea through the dunes at any time of the day was always a wonderful experience. Doing it at the night was even more exciting. Waking up with the sounds of birds and being surrounded by overwhelming bushes of the wild roses was a lovely feeling. The house was conceived as being part of this immaculate nature – we felt that in your house. Overall, very nicely designed and decorated, and very functional - equipped with everything to feel good and relax away from hustle and bustle of city life. ! I wish we could stay longer! The contact with the owner has been excellent, very kind and attentive. Thank you Jutta!

We very much loved our stay here. We enjoyed being able to simply walk out of the back door and be on the beach in 5 minutes. There are some lovely walks right on the doorstep. The property is tucked away so you have total privacy and complete peace and quiet. The property itself is very well kept, cosy and family friendly. Lots natural light pours in through the large windows. You won't be disappointed staying here. We were sad to leave!

Beautiful house located right on the dunes so you can walk to the beach in 3 minutes. Very quiet, could hear the sea in the evenings from our bedroom window. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Fantastic for young children who can round around safely. Super kind and responsive owner. Highly recommend!

This is a nice and cosy house, perfect for a family up to 6. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the house is well equiped.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home on a great location. The weather wasn’t great at first but the house is so comfortable that it is fine to stay inside! The host (Jutta) was very quick and friendly to respond. Overall a very nice place and host :)

We have spent a holiday week in this house for the second time because we really appreciate the environment of the house: both very close to the beach (a few minutes walk) and enough privacy & quietness around the house. And again we really valued these aspects. The house is adequately equipped including full kitchen equipment so we could prepare meals at home when we wanted. The house interior is showing it's age though and some parts (like the matresses) might need replacing.

Ameland is all about the dunes, the incredible large beaches and nice spots to eat and enjoy this scenery. This holiday home Beauty is in the middle of this small paradise. Directly out of this house, you walk into the dunes...a beautiful landscape, via your own nature path. Only minutes walking away from the beautiful beach. And you can bring your dog(s)....they will definitely enjoy it. The house is located in the last quiet street before the dunes and beach. It is a romantic house just below a dune/hill, with its own private dune-garden. A quiet nature spot....especially when you leave the back door as that is directly leading to the dunes itself. We really liked our weekend in house Beauty.
