Idyllic retreat near the Incline, nestled in Manitou’s breathtaking landscapes.

This was great place! Loved being so close to a shuttle stop but also close enough to walk downtown, even after hiking the incline! The house was spacious and clean and had what we needed.

Great place to stay. Clean, cozy and great location. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive. Would highly recommend.

We picked the perfect house for the week. It had everything we needed. The house had a fantastic water heater. They even provided a food and water bowl for my dog. Everything we wanted to do was within 5-10 min drive. I especially loved the walking trail with a stream right across the street. We saw deer in the backyard everyday. The host checked in to see if we had everything we needed. We are very satisfied with our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

This location has good amenities and was very clean. You’re close to downtown manitou and also many hiking spots/activities. Host communication was good, too.The only downside were the floors being very creaky and there is a downstairs unit, so the sound barrier is non existent. Having a 4 and 6 year old mind their steps due to noise was a little stressful-but no issues from the tenet below. The house is very charming and full of character. (Note: there is no access from the downstairs unit to the house-which was a plus). The full size appliances were great for a family of 4. Parking was available and designated (no off street parking needed for us).5/5 for our stay.

It was great to be so close to the shuttle to downtown, the Incline, and the cog train.

A modest exterior opens into a lovely interior! Photos are accurate. Comfortable furniture and beds, well-equipped kitchen, high-end washer & dryer, unique & interesting back yard with a table & chairs. There was excellent communication from the owners. The main area of downtown Manitou Springs is about a 10 minute walk, if that.If you bring your pup, be warned that sidewalks and evening/morning lighting are scarce, making walking challenging. But of course the great back yard can take care of that for most folks! And there is a cute little park that has decent lighting at night just 2-3 blocks away.

We stayed here as part of a family vacation. There were four adults (me, my wife , our son and DIL). Worked out great with plenty of room.

We attended a wedding at Craftwood peak and this place was just around the corner! Also this place is directly across from Briarwood, another popular wedding event place. This is very close to the tourist area of Manitou Springs. The house is old and has some quirks ( squeaky floors) but I found it charming. Many nearby eateries and the river is across the street!

Fantastic little house that felt like home! Backed up to the cliff, it was quiet and comfy. The hosts were amazing and quick to answer any questions and take care of any needs. Close to downtown and easy to find. Highly recommend!

The property was well-appointed and immaculate: couch and beds were comfortable. Appliances were new.

My daughter and I went absolutely loved it! We had such a wonderful time. We would totally go back again!

Very cute place. Extremely clean. The place was larger than I expected as well. We appreciated the convenience to downtown and walked there several times. My one complaint may be something completely outside the host’s control - there is very little sound separation between the upper VRBO unit and the basement unit. We had our 1 year old with us who woke up at 7:30am and started doing toddler things (running around, asking for breakfast) and we heard the downstairs occupant yelling and cursing at us that he was trying to sleep. It made for an awkward stay the rest of the time! So may not recommend this unit if you have little ones!

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was as advertised. Things were neat and clean. Communication with the hosts was easy. It was a great location for doing things around Manitou- Cog Railway, Incline (though we just explored it, didn’t climb). Parking there was very limited
