We had a lovely stay - Port Royal is a quaint, historic town that has become a low country destination in recent years. If you are a Marine recruit family, be cautious about booking this home. My son suffered a leg injury with three weeks left to graduate and the property management was non negotiable on even a partial refund. We opted to come down and thankfully the Corps permitted us to visit with my son. One recommendation for the homeowner would be to get a propane grill for guests. Charcoal was too ol’ school for us, unfortunately.

It was a great place to stay. It’s minutes, and I mean minutes from the USMC Depot. The house is beautiful and conveniently located. Anything you need is near by. It is a quick walk to Fish Camp on 11th. A great restaurant. If you have a recruit that will be a Marine there is no better place to stayThank you

We loved the location of the house and the spacious living area and bedrooms. Would have loved to have used the double porches, but it was a bit too hot this weekend. Air conditioning upstairs couldn’t quite keep up with the high temps but it was still comfortable downstairs Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This was a great house for the price. Clean, comfortable beds, amazing shower pressure! I would definitely stay here again.

Our whole experience with this house was amazing. The location, comfort and amenities were perfect! We were there for my son's graduation at Parris Island and enjoyed every minute.

The spot was exactly what we needed as we celebrated our grandson's Marine graduation at Parris Island! It was about 10 minutes from Parris Island, so we were able to get there with no problem for those early mornings during the graduation week. Everything was clean and we had all that we needed to accommodate our group of six family members. The two beds in one room were what sealed the deal for us to choose this property as we had one child with us.

We were in town for our son's USMC graduation and this was the PERFECT location! The house was exactly what we needed - I was easily able to cook a meal for family day and we had everything else we needed to make a pleasant stay. It is close enough to Parris Island that it's just a 5-10 minute trip back, so my husband was able to drop off our Marine's bags and bring back some of his requested items during family day. The neighborhood is adorable and I would love the opportunity to visit when we are less scheduled to enjoy the town.

We were in town for my sons graduation at Parris Island. It had everything we could have needed and it was very cozy an roomy to enjoy family time. Would definitely recommend & stay here again.

My family traveled to Port Royal for my grandson's Marine Boot Camp Graduation from Parris Island, SC. in July, 2024. I was a bit skeptical of using a VRBO because I have never used this type of lodging. We were all just delighted with the house, the location (minutes away from the base and that was very convenient on those early morning arrivals), the neighborhood and the quaint little town of Port Royal, and I could go one and on. The house was impeccably clean and decorated with coastal decor. We loved it and if we go to Port Royal again, we will definitely opt to rent at 1016 10th Street. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

This house is well equipped and in a great location. It provides the comfort of home and still delivers the excitement of vacation. The upstairs balcony porch is awesome. Port Royal seems to just keep getting better and better with new restaurants and activities. I temporarily lost the house keys (found them when the tide washed out!) and the property managers were very, very helpful. We fully recommend this house to anyone looking for a great trip away.
