Overall great experience. House was clean and had all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay.
My husband and I stayed here with our dogs and loved it. The home was extremely clean, it was well-stocked, furnished nicely, and the pool in the spa for great. And it’s only a 35 minute drive to Zion!
We had a great stay here for 3 nights. The house was super clean and spacious. It was just two of us so we didn’t use all of the bedrooms, but I can imagine a large family could stay here comfortably. The linens were very comfortable. We did have an issue with the AC when we arrived but the property managers were very responsive and it was resolved quickly. The kitchen was well equipped. The pool was great but very warm. The location was outstanding. Only things of note are a security camera in the back yard trained on the pool. It made us very uncomfortable, and all we were doing was swimming. The internet quality was rough, wouldn’t really let us watch much on the TV. Maybe it was the TV being a Roku. The street noise was loud into the night, but out of the control of the property managers. Otherwise, definitely a wonderful stay in a nice property. (By the way - I fixed your thermostat and ice maker for you ?) Thanks!
Very clean and well stocked And the beds were comfy!
Great house
We stayed here over spring break and really enjoyed it. Loved that we could bring our dog and that the backyard was large and fenced. Loved that there is a pool and hot tub. Loved that there are plenty of bedrooms and plenty of beds. Overall a great experience. Be aware of the pool heating times, because it's not an all day thing. And be aware that there is no door on the master bathroom or shower, so lock the master bedroom door when you take a shower (but please put a curtain or something on the shower, Evolve, because it's cold in there otherwise).
We stayed in this location with our friends and family, we enjoyed the private pool and hot tub and had a beautiful red mountain back drop. we will definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay, we loved the pool and hot tub and the nice open floorplan.
This beautiful place equipped with pool and hot tub was close to all of the places we wanted to visit. Zions, and sand hollow resort.
The house had everything we needed. Fully stocked kitchen, pool was great, family room with tv, enough bedrooms for everyone. Very close to Zion for hiking. Washer and dryer. We did arrive and outdoor trash cans were overflowing and never emptied.
Please please avoid this property! I have NEVER written a negative review about anything until now! Upon arrival the house had been cleaned however there were dirty dishes in the dish washer and multiple dirty cleaning rags left sitting around. Not ideal but hey it happens. When we came upon the bedroom with the bunk beds there were sticky notes left on the door saying “do not turn on the light due to water damage”. Yes that’s right we couldn’t use the light in the ceiling and the ceiling was bulging from water damage. No lamp was provided so it was literally just dark! We couldn’t arrive until 4, at 5 the yard guy showed up so we all had to come inside. The following day the bug guy came so we had to leave the pool and sit inside for an hour. The third day the pool guy came and needed to work on the pool. Of course none of this was communicated to us! The listing says that there is a camera recording you above the garage, ok no problem…wrong!!! The camera is on a garage/storage building in the backyard that overlooks the pool. I do not want my family recorded in swim suits. The owner called the management company and said we had broken the camera so I spent an hour on the phone explaining we pointed it down towards the ground. I then sent pictures proving that’s what happened! I could go on and on! For the sake of telling the whole story I had to call the management company 3 times and each time I held for at least 30 minutes. They did refund a small amount of the rental money back to me. I would NEVER rent this home again!
An awesome property
This house was very expensive. For the price, things should have been much, much better. I would not return for free. First, the neighborhood is very noisy. There is construction next door, two doors down, four houses down, etc. The entire neighborhood. Before 7 a.m. until early evening, you can expect pneumatic nail guns, saws, trucks, radios, yelling workers, backhoes, etc. Right behind the house is a huge storage facility -- you'd better believe no one there cares you are trying to chill. Bury any notion of relaxing quietly by the pool right now. Second, the house was not clean. For that money, dirty q-tips on the floor, candy wrappers in the sofa, blood drops in the shower, hair in all the drawers, sticky counters, crumbs in the silverware is absolutely unacceptable. It was gross. Our first two hours in the house were spent cleaning. Then, every day there we had to kill roaches. All door mats, inside and out, had not been cleaned in a millennia. Everything was dusty. The entire house needs a serious spring cleaning on top of normal weekly cleaning. Third, do not expect to use the pool table. Half of the table cannot be used because of the room it is in. Think Kramer and the Maestro in George's bedroom. Fourth, the house does not come with garage door openers, and the front and back door are absolutely murder to use. There are simple maintenance issues everywhere. Fifth, the property is managed by Evolve, meaning you will not be able to get in contact with anyone, ever. When you contact them through VRBO, they actually ask you to not contact them through VRBO because they are really busy. The local guy was a bit rude, and unhelpful. The most he did was blame housekeeping, i.e. not his problem. His motivation was clearly to get paid, and do nothing. I would never return to this home.
Hot tub came in handy, to soothe sore bones and muscles, after hiking in Zion. Hurricane stores had everything we needed. We enjoyed the quiet solitude, the view from the back porch/pool/hot tub area. Liked having a mountain, practically in the back yard.
This was an amazing place to stay. All the little touches that you need. Fully stocked kitchen. Hot tub and pool were beautiful.
This was our first stay in Hurricane, Utah. This home was so amazing and inviting. The sleeping arrangements were just perfect. Our family was able to get away and enjoy our little vacation. The pool was warm and the views of the mountain were the perfect ending to our day.
Have booked multiple properties on vrbo and am usually pleasantly surprised. We booked this house for spring break because our kids wanted to swim. It’s still not quite warm enough so we looked specifically for a hottub and pool combo. Come to find out there is a daily fee of $35 to heat the pool. That seems high because I know how much it costs to heat a pool that size but was happy to pay once I realized we needed to in order to have a warm pool for the kids to swim in. We reached out to the property manager and he allowed us to pay over venmo so we thought everything was good. Come to find out, we have to text the property manager 2 hours in advance to use the hottub. This just seems ridiculous to have to think through your day and decide when you’d like to use the amenities you thought you paid for when you booked the property. No where on the listing does it mention that the hottub can’t just be used the whole trip. It doesn’t mention the need to rely on a response from the property manager to use the hottub that you see as a feature on the listing. Also, once we contacted evolve about this issue we were informed that the property manager shouldn’t have accepted payment from us for the pool heating fee. That was a bit unsettling. We wouldn’t have booked this property if we knew it was going to be such a hassle to keep the pool/hottub heated. The stove is impossible to stir on. The pans slide all over the place. Ice maker didn’t work and Also found some dirty socks in living room upon arrival. So yeah, not our best experience at a vrbo.
