Hunter Group Retreat | 4 Separate Units & Atrium

Overall the layout of the home is amazing. The efficiencies apartments worked great for our group of adults and teenagers. The link states that there are 6 bathrooms. But infact only 5 and 1/2. Main house has only 1 full bath and 1 half bath, which we had to share with 7 adults. This lead to some challenges and when I brought this up to the host, he was a bit rude about it. The cleanliness of this home is atrocious. All the bathrooms had yellow stains in the showers and toilets. The kitchen did not have a toaster and the silverware and plates at the minimum causing us to do dishes at each meal, which was time consuming. The water has a whitish discoloration and tastes like blood. I have lived in a home with well water and a proper filtration system and never had this issue. Thus we had to spend more money on water bottles. If these issues can be addressed then we would return but otherwise it's a hard NO for us.

Fantastic house in the best location!! This home was able to accommodate our friend reunion comfortably with the perfect common spaces. Super clean and easy to get around to fun things in the area. Would stay again :)

We stayed at this venue and used the space for my sister's wedding. The property itself was absolutely beautiful. There is plenty of space for a large group and we had a great time. A few things to note: the water is a milky white color and had a rusty/salty taste. The filtration system that was in the basement was flashing an error message the entire weekend. The host did not respond to my message about this. If you're staying here, I would highly recommend bringing bottles of water. Another thing to note: there is no working dishwasher. For a group as large as ours, this was really inconvenient. The shower was also clogged, and the drain had to be snaked. Additionally, the house did not appear to be professionally cleaned. While it was neat and tidy, it was very dusty and there were some spaces that were just generally dirty. The host did not respond to any of my messages during our stay. It was a great space for what we needed, but communication and cleanliness could definitely be improved upon.

This was a business trip. I have traveled to many different rentals, this one has many concerns. The listing states that each of the 4 apartments has 2 queen beds. The last has 1, not 2 as advertised. This forced 2 of our guests to have to share a bed which was an uncomfortable situation. After our stay the host informed us that the last apartment has a pull out couch, this was not disclosed & no linens were provided for this bed. A few hours before checkin the host messaged me to say the dishwasher was broken. This was incredibly inconvenient, countless hours that we should have been using to enjoy our stay were spent hand washing dishes. I was shocked to not be offered a discount, paper plates as an alternative, etc. The house really lacks in supplies. It is advertised as being able to accommodate 26 but we did not have enough plates, spoons, etc for many of our meals. Of all the rentals we've stayed at, this was by far the dirtiest. This is not a reflection of the cleaners who were working incredibly hard on our arrival (an hour into our stay) A regularly scheduled deep clean is necessary windows/sills/floors were all visibly dirty. The property is gorgeous, we enjoyed the fire pit, deck, sunroom & creek. The beds were all VERY comfortable. Overall we enjoyed the property & would love to visit again if the above concerns are addressed. I messaged the host after our stay with our concerns but no solution was provided. The lack of customer service has spoke volumes.
