Stayed Feb 21, 2024Saddleback Mountain is the best!! It’s about a 15 min drive to the lodge maybe even less. The cabin is just that, it was you would expect but there was plenty of space for us 2 adults and 4 kids ages 10-17. My only suggestion to future guest id if you like to cook bring some quality pans.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We just got back from a great week in hunter cove! Our cabin was perfect, it had everything we needed and more and was very family friendly. The property is clean and well kept including the docks, boat house and access to all the canoes and amenities. One small drawback was the steep climb back up the hill to our cabin once we were on the water. We would recommend this property to everyone!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The cabin was very clean and contained everything we needed. It was decorated in a lake style which went perfectly with the outdoors. There was lots to do including swimming, kayaking, board games, and my favorite, reading on the screened in porch. I highly recommend!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved our stay at Hunter Cove Cabin #5! The cabin was clean, great style, and perfect for our family. The boathouse provided a great option when folks wanted a break from the lake while others swam. It really was all wonderful!

Stayed Jun 19, 2021We recently stayed at this property, I don’t think I would return to hunter cove again. We stayed here years ago when it was maintained much better, our shower had a six inch slice in the floor, that someone could have sliced there foot on, the toilet leaked from the bottom, the property manager did offer to deal with the issue but being a plumber myself I know that the shower was a big deal and we would have to move somewhere else, and we had already unpacked after driving six hours. The boat house definitely needs some work, along with the docks too! Our family made the best of the cabin and did enjoy our stay but would not stay here again.
