This house/cabin was perfect for our family! It is secluded yet we could still get to my niece's wedding in Lake George easily. Outdoor activities were literally in the backyard. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching wildlife, and I was especially excited to discover Big Foot!

What an awesome location and great home for our family vacation. So close to the lake and secluded enough to feel like a trip to a mountain getaway. Highly recommended!

Beautiful home with even more beautiful views. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, and there were lots of places to hang out inside and outside. Sitting in rocking chairs bird watching on the porch was our favorite part. It was a very peaceful getaway and we hope to come back soon. The hosts were very helpful and answered questions quickly. Eleven mile reservoir is a very short drive away. Note that the marina is no longer renting kayaks, canoes, or SUPs this season (only pontoons and fishing boats), so you need to bring your own.

This cabin is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Very well stocked kitchen, all beds are comfortable and bedding is nice. Good pillows too. The views from all sides are beautiful. Feeding the birds and identifying the different mountain species was a treat. We also had deer visitors. The location is great. Communication with the host is excellent. We hope to come again. They had a Christmas tree up for the holidays, we loved it. We made such great memories, thank you!!

Wife and I had a great time just getting away in the mountains. It snowed two of the days we were there and it was gorgeous. Communication was great and helpful. Would love to come back again in the future.

Beautiful area with a nice cabin. Close enough to eleven mile for some great fishing. Great views from the deck and plenty of area to explore. Watch out for big foot in the backyard.

road to the house is damaged the whole 13 mi with huge potholes. house is much smaller than the pictures lead you to believe. living rm right next to the dining table/kicthen and with 8 people we were shuffling around each other and furniture. downstairs room is NOT accessible from the main part of the house unless you go outside. It does say there is a separate entrance but believe that is still misleading. We took it as it had its own entrance not that it was cut off from the rest of the house. first night we noticed while preparing dinner that there were multiple dirty dishes that we had to clean before using. And I’m not talking just a little dirty. Also noticed there was staining on the bathroom towels in 2 of 3 bathrooms. I washed the towels so we knew they were clean. sticky spots on the kitchen floor I had mopped up. Was nice to pay for cleaning and seeing how well things get cleaned. There is only a very small rug to take shoes off on at entrance with carpet No outside rug It rained all week and dirt is everywhere outside, even with taking shoes off at the door that area of the carpet still got dirty which we were charged for. dumpster is impossible to get into to bring garbage out Asked and was told to leave garbage in the house and then got charged for excessive cleaning because the garbage left a smell in the upstairs closet. it’s odd that in their welcome book they tell you how to rate them so they don’t get too low Of rating on here And get kicked off.

We highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing time. The birds were abundant, the walk to the top of the hill was easy even for the kids. This home provided the perfect place for our family. We were in Lake George to attend a wedding.
