Hummingbird Lodge- Lake Views

This is really a place for two adults and one or two kids. The second room was very small and poorly appointed with only one bedside lamp. It was not appropriate for two more adults. Also, the ice maker was broken when we arrived.

Beautiful location overlooking the lake. Easy access to all Olympic attractions and outdoor fun. 3 floors and 3 baths with all the amenities worked perfectly for this multi-generation family. We highly recommend Hummingbird Lodge!

Everything was great for our stay. Very comfortable and beautiful home. We loved being able to walk into town. Looking out over the lake every morning was awesome as well!

We truly loved our stay in saranac lake! We skied, snowboarded, ice skated, zip lined. Fun times we had by all! Loved the house! Very clean. Loved the view of the lake. We hung out and played games by the fire. It was a nice time just being together there. Thank you!

Our stay at Saranac Lake was fantastic. The communications were timely, check in was easy. The house was well laid out, well stocked (even to prep for Thanksgiving dinner), and beautiful. The view of the lake is incredible, the living space was great for movies, family games, and relaxing. The bedrooms were nice and comfortable. My only feedback is that a 10am checkout is pretty early especially when there is cleaning, stripping sheets, emptying garbage to be done. An extra hour before checkout would make this place perfect!

I don’t normally leave reviews but felt this property deserved one. We booked this gem for a 3 night stay for our son’s wedding weekend in the area. It was a perfect location to travel to and from all of the events held over the weekend in Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Ray Brook. Check-in and check-out was seamless and communication with Margie was prompt and helpful. While the photos posted with this listing are a good portrayal of the home they don’t adequately show just how amazing it is. It’s beautiful!! We had 6 adults and 2 babies under 1 yr old for the entire stay and had more than enough room for everyone and everything we packed for multiple formal events and the little ones needs. The home in its entirety was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. Beds were very comfortable, laundry room spacious with full size washer/dryer, and a well stocked kitchen. The neighborhood is well taken care of and quiet. A nice older gentleman that lives across the street stopped by to introduce himself and offer to help with anything we needed or answer any questions about the area. Really enjoyed chatting with him. It was a busy weekend so we didn’t get to take advantage of the outdoor spaces that looked inviting and the theater room that would be a great place to enjoy a family movie night. I would highly recommend booking this property for your stay in the area. You won’t be disappointed no matter the season.

This beautiful home was the perfect spot for a New Years get together. We enjoyed being near Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Paul Smiths. We skied xc at Mt Van Hovenburg and then drove up to Titus to avoid the crowds at White face. The house has well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out. We loved it.

Hummingbird Lodge was a perfect day for our family of four during our recent trip to Saranac Lake. The house is even nicer than the pictures show. It is very clean and comfortable. We spent a few nights watching movies down in the theater room, which is awesome! This house is close to town and Lake Flower. The only thing that would take the house from an A to an A+ would be a really close (walkable) publiclly-accessible place to fish or access the lake, but of course this is out of the owner’s control (and you can drive into town in less than five minutes). Overall this is an excellent property and we would definitely stay again in the future.
