Great host and property! It was even better than what the pictures show!
We so enjoyed our stay! This house was amazing, and the views did not disappoint. The decks were so nice that I could have stayed out there the entire time. The kitchen was well stocked with the cooking and baking items we needed. I loved the house decor! Lots of Knick-knacks that made the house seem homier (is that a word?). The only downside, and it was not that much of a downside, we would have liked a television in the upstairs great room. It was my favorite room in which to spend time. Thanks for a wonderful stay! I would definitely recommend this vacation home!
Property was wonderful and on the side of a mountain with gorgeous view. Very comfortable and well appointed. Close to Town and not too far from Asheville airport. Black Mt was charming. We’ll be back!
This property is absolutely breathtaking. We spent a long weekend with 2 other couples taking in the sites of the area along with the men participating in a golf tournament. First of all the views from this property cannot be overinflated....simply majestic! The house itself gives people plenty of room to space out. The decks both up and down were such a great place to spend time just staring at the valley below. We used the grill which was awesome and easy and simple to use. The furnishings throughout the house, as well as the deck, were fantastic. It was great to have two kitchen areas, as we liked to watch football (the TV is downstairs) and it was nice not to have to climb the stairs every time you needed a snack or beverage. It certainly wasn't a huge inconvenience with the downstairs having a kitchen, but it would have been nice to have a TV upstairs as well. The only other recommendation I might have with the deck being so terrific, perhaps the addition of a propane fire pit would be awesome. Had we had that, I'm not sure anyone would have come inside. Haha. The drive to Asheville is an easy 20 minutes for great dining and entertainment. And, we found Black Mountain to have several good restaurants and entertainment sources. Louise's Kitchen for breakfast was great! Overall the place is one of the best I have rented on VRBO....simply stunning. It fit our needs perfectly. The management company, Evolve, and especially the owners Jan and Robert were off the charts great to work with. Jan answered every call, and went above and beyond to make our stay the BEST! Thanks Jan.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The views from the deck are amazing especially during golden hours and early mornings. The house is clean and has everything you need. It’s a quick 15-20 min drive from Asheville and 5-10 minutes away from Black Mountain stores, restaurants, and breweries. The local contact was responsive and very helpful. We would stay here again if we visited
The house was amazing, just as listed. However, we received a lot of snow and there were no shovels to clear the driveway so we couldn’t leave, or get my two brothers to the airport and they missed their flight. We literally removed snow and ice front the driveway with our hands. The property manager sent a message at 4pm on Sunday saying they were sending someone to clear the driveway, they didn’t arrive until 12noon the next day! We had to pay almost the cost of this house reservation just to rebook my brothers flight. The property manager was rude and unhelpful. I would not stay here again with this management company.
Great home! Very clean. Easy to get to. Close to downtown black mountain and Asheville. Would definitely stay there again!
Great experience with great views. Only comment would be a heads up that there are 5 beds but only 3 doors. One bed is a loft so that’s okay but one of the downstairs bedrooms does not have a door. However I would stay again in a heartbeat and will recommend.
We loved the views! Great decks and we felt we could quickly get to both hikes and into downtown Asheville.
We loved this property! The view was incredible, and we spent most of our mornings and evenings on the deck watching the sun rise and set over the mountains. We had a little trouble getting into contact with the property manager the first day, but that was quickly resolved. Overall, great place to stay and explore everything this area has to offer.
