Huge Family House with Pool/Walk to Beach

This is an amazing property. The Kitchen was chef friendly with lots of high end appliances and cooking equipment. It was also huge and made prep for 10 people very easy. Alternatively, there's great take out and restaurants nearby. The house is beautiful, with a 19th century feel (but 20th century systems!) and lovely informal space downstairs with many games. We stayed in November, so did not use the outdoor space, but would spend all our time there in good weather. The host was helpful and accommodating, and very communicative. We easily found everything we needed with a minimum of fuss. There are four bedrooms but two more rooms that have pull out sofas that can be made private. We could have had a few more people in less private spaces if needed. The property is beautiful, with a view of the sound from upper floors. Access to exercise equipment was a big plus for our crowd.

Wonderful house with something for everyone. We visited in August, 2025 with 6 adults and 3 children under 7. Lots of space to spread out, and so many fun activities available in the house, in addition to the pool and short walk to the beach. The backyard space is an oasis. The hosts are responsive and care about your experience.

The house has every amenity you could need, too many to list. Huge pool and backyard for grilling and lounging and enjoying your family. We did beach in the morning and pool in the afternoon with our little ones. Highly recommend this house!

This was a family reunion trip and the property exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room, an amazing kitchen, the basement kept the kids entertained for hours, and the loft was dance party central.The backyard, the pool, grill, and outdoor seating was amazing and relaxing. The chairs on the front porch were by far the most relaxing place to hang out. Endless panoramic views and tons of room for the kids to run and play. We absolutely loved this property. But the best part by far was the host. Liz was above and beyond before and during our stay. Communication was so easy and she helped with everything we needed in a timely manner. We’ve stayed at many places and this is by far the best.

We stayed with my family for my Daughters Yale graduation. House is amazing. Very up to date. Excellent rooms with many bathrooms. Grounds are beautifully maintained. Great kitchen and laundry is available. Pool is wonderful. Short walk to the beach. Host was attentive and so nice to work with. I am grateful that they are willing to share this property.

The house was all we hoped for and more! Liz is an amazing host. The house had many areas we could gather as a group and there were also spots we could sneak away to if we needed solitude. Kitchen was super updated. The gaming room in the basement was a fun. Quick walk to the beach as well. The house was very clean and had some of that New England charm. Thanks Liz!

We came with our family to be close by to my in-laws. The home is beautiful - the pictures do not do it justice. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need! The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Short walk to an amazing view at the beach. We hope to come back!

We loved our stay! The (truly huge) house was located in a peaceful, beautiful neighborhood, just a short five-minute walk to the beach with many more popular state beaches/parks within driving distance. Super close to amenities and conveniences in Milford. It was the perfect setting for our group, with more space than we knew what to do with—tons of bedrooms, multiple living rooms, and areas to relax, gather, talk, and sing (we booked it for our singing group). The place was so comfortable and spacious! The house was spotlessly clean and smelled good upon arrival. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, with up-to-date appliances that were easy to use and worked smoothly. Despite the serenity of the patio and backyard, I don't think anyone went out there! Between the things to explore in the house (e.g., the pinball machines and games in the basement), the beach, and the rehearsals that kept us busy, we were very well entertained. Finally, our host was very careful, detailed, and communicative. She really wanted to ensure that everything was prepared and made as it should've been for our arrival, and she did exactly that. All in all, this home was a perfect getaway for both relaxation and rehearsal—it offered a wonderful balance of comfort, convenience, and luxury. Our group members all said they really loved it. Would highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this house! It was gorgeous and well maintained. Stocked with anything you could possibly want! The pool was amazing and kids had a blast spending all day enjoying it. Highly recommend!

We rented this house for my daughter’s wedding. The house was beautiful! The kitchen was the perfect spot for all the bridesmaids to have their hair and makeup done. The location was close the venue. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves days before and after the event. The host was very nice to deal with .

Beautiful property in a great location with lots to do for both children and adults. We had a wonderful weekend there enjoying the pool and outside area. The house is very spacious and has lots of games for the kids to play with. The kitchen is great for entertaining and well equipped for all your cooking needs. The owner is very responsive and helpful with providing everything you need for a relaxing stay.
