The house is great! The common areas on the main floor are huge with lots of space to gather even large groups. Downstairs was good with the game room and a couple of bedrooms. As others have said, there is NO hand soap in the bathrooms. Some of the consumables - dishwasher detergent, paper towels, etc. - were also a little low.We very much enjoyed our stay and we'd stay here again if we have the need or opportunity!

We had a great stay and truly enjoyed the peacefulness and quiet of the area. The cabin had an authentic, cozy cabin feel that made it easy to relax and unplug. Our family and friends all had a wonderful time, and the space was perfect for a calm getaway. We also loved the wildlife décor…especially the moose and deer on the walls. They were very lifelike and really added to the true cabin atmosphere. The only downside for us was the bedding. The mattresses felt very soft…almost like quicksand…and the pillows were pretty deflated, which unfortunately left us with some back discomfort. That said, overall it was a great experience, and with a small upgrade to the beds and pillows, this place would be close to perfect. We’d definitely consider staying again.

A few of my friends and I rented this home for Labor Day weekend. Home was beautiful and very spacious for the 12 of us that stayed. From the large living room upstairs too all the late night games of pool downstairs it was perfect. The dock is great size we were able go fit both our 24 ft boats as well at 4 jet skis all on the dock. Only 2 downsides are the walk from the home to the dock is a pretty steep incline that can be challenging for some. And the road coming into the property is very steep and full of bumps that a small car will definitely struggle with. We all had lifted trucks and it was still a challenge. But overall home is beautiful and could not recommend it enough

We chose the house on the availability of lake vehicles. The pedal boat was not there. When the host was questioned, he said it had sunk and he hadn’t been able to replace it. My son wanted to use the red kayak but it was filled with an ant colony (eggs and all) so he took the larger paddleboard. When he was in the middle of the lake, it took on water. Luckily he had his life jacket on and was able to get Mack to the dock and push the paddleboard back. The path to the lake was treacherous, especially for grandparents in their 70’s. Some steps need to be added. There were cobwebs throughout the house. The propane tank for the grill was empty. The kitchen was well stocked but Teflon pans were chipping and it needs a working exhaust fan.Living and dining areas were large and very accommodating.Beds were fair. Extra pillows would be nice. The laundry facilities were good.Parking was tight.

There were 7 adults and 3 children. The place was very accommodating for our group. Nice large kitchen and table for meals. Plenty of space and areas to relax. The dock was in good condition and fairly easy to get to. The location is convenient for having a boat and swimming as there is less boat traffic. It may be a little challenging for some as there is only a rough path down to the dock/water. We did not have trouble parking three cars and a trailer (for 16-foot boat).

Not enough parking, outdoor has potential but much of the outside area was not mowed. Sewage was overflowing and smelled bad outdoors. Home was very nice and roomy. Hooks for towels in bathrooms would be nice. Trash can liners would have been helpful.

everything is above expectation except the hot water is not stable, sometime it become cold water when taking shower, otherwise we do enjoy it.

The property is beautiful but at the moment does not live up to its potential. The home is a great location, the furniture exquisite yet every review citing the missing necessities are true. We found 1 dish towel..1 The vanity bathroom paper curtain was falling down until we fixed it with a thumbtack...this property deserves better. You can tell there is upgrading going on, the bathrooms are very nice although the shower head in the main floor bedroom is way too high and you basically get dribbled on. The property advertises a Keurig, there was none..thank goodness we live close. It was too cold for us to use the canoes however we never did see life preservers in the house..if you plan on that it might be something to inquire about. You WILL have smoke in the house if you run a fire...we had a helluva hot fire and the house still filled up...it was windy that day, it may have something to do with that, I'm not sure but..be advised. The stove is virtually unmarked..its hit or miss on what power setting you've chosen...the two ovens are very nice as is the spectacular dining room table. We found the beds comfortable, the bunk beds are extra large so very comfortable for adults however, the bed linens are thin..if you like some heft on you at night to sleep bring your own comforters or bedspreads. Im running out of space, you get the drift. bring flashlights..its treacherous walking to the fire pit at night. (never did find the lights supposedly there)
