Spectacular location. Large home. Perfect for a big family meeting in Chicago for a wedding. LOVED the garage. Our Host was great. We would all return to Chicago and to this home. Loved it.

We had a great stay with the family for Christmas. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and the kitchen/eating/living room areas where large and roomy. The location was ideal and within walking distance of many things. The host was great and we communicated frequently leading up to the stay and she even met us there when we checked in to show us around. Highly recommended.

Nice big area for entertaining on a level without bedrooms. Grocery store is only a few blocks away. Public transportation is close.

We had 20 people. The space was ideal for our large group. Plenty of space, comfortable, nice kitchen facilities. Great location- easy to get to the L, close to Second City, Chicago History Museum and bars and restaurants. Owner could not have been more helpful and kind. Parking in garage was great.

This is a fantastic place in a great location. Lots to walk to and see in the area. Walking to Lake Michigan a big draw. We had a large group and there was great space for all of us. Supplies offered were the absolute best! Great to have the lower level space for overflow or to offer some separate spaces if needed. The benefit of the 2 car garage access is a must if you’re using a car. So helpful.

A spacious house in a great location.

The space was good for our gathering. We could spread out and accommodate different needs - early risers, late risers, bed hogs, loud breathers :) the location was great for us. The location was great for us.

Everything was great for our stay! Inna very graciously came over and gave us a tour of the house, and some suggestions of things to check out in the city. The house was exactly as presented in the photos. It was clean and had everything we needed, it was really like a home away from home. We will definitely look to book this property again next time we come back to Chicago!

We absolutely LOVED the house and staying in Old Towne and the responsiveness of Inna. She left a thoughtful note with cookies and called to check in with us when we arrived as well. it was perfect space for our 13 in total for all to have beds and plenty of bathrooms and the perfect downstairs area for the Moms to be together yet separate from the group. Many thanks! We will be back.

Great place in Old Town! The place was able to accommodate our large group for the weekend. I will say, it says it can fit 22 but was a bit tight with our 20. At groups of that size, a few people will be sleeping on the futons and mattress pads that are provided. The listing was totally transparent about this but wanted to highlight! Overall, communication between the host was great and I would recommend this house to any larger groups looking to stay in the city.

Worked great for 10 adults. Convenient to walk to restaurants, entertainment, stores. Neighborhood seemed very safe. Train is close by but we got used to the sound.

Good for our get together.

The space was perfect for multiple families who want to stay in a great neighborhood, close to the train, shopping, restaurants bars and more. Worked out perfectly for a few friends and their kids with plenty of space for sleeping and hanging out. Even had 2 spaces for cars in a garage!

The home was hot we could not get air to work even after speaking with host still didn’t work. Toilet overflowed in basement bathroom 2x and upon arrival I texted host about checking in early she told me I had paid for the option already. So my group proceeded and was met at the home with cleaners. Called host and then I realized I didn’t purchase early check in. She was very nasty stating “you know you didn’t pay for it” which honestly I didn’t know if I chose the option or not while reserving the property. So I just felt like she could have had better customer service while speaking with guests who reserved the property. Overall the home was ok. Parking is terrible especially for large groups. The garage is tiny so 2 SUV’s can’t fit and in the description it speaks of a 3 parking space but our 3rd SUV was too wide and was still in the street (alley) because it was very narrow.

We traveled to Chicago for a 3 day visit - this house was in a quiet neighborhood and walking distance to several coffee shops and diners. The house fit our family well and was warm and cozy.

We rented this house so that two families could stay for the weekend in Chicago to celebrate our kids engagement. The house is great, it's pet friendly, it's in a great location, the garage is very useful for parking cars, etc. However, you really, really need to read the owner's rules. The location is awesome for families and includes two garages parking spots. If you have a larger vehicle it may not fit but I was able to fit a Buick 7 passenger and a minivan. Tight squeeze but it worked. Old Town is great. Very close to attractions but we did drive or uber to magnificent mile since the group was cold. We did walk to the zoo which wasn’t too bad. Lots of great food very close to the house. Old Jerusalem Restaurant Is a must. Awesome Lebanese food (I’m Lebanese so I know). Great trip.

Short walk to so many great restaurants, bars, cafes, and more. Great location and the stay was great. Communication and expectations were clear from the start and made for an easy stay.

This property worked well for our group of 14. The need to go outside to get between the upper and lower levels had been made very clear. It was a bit tricky at first with 5 young children, but we all adjusted pretty quickly. The lower level is more basic than upstairs but still worked very well for 5 of the group. The neighborhood was perfect for the location of the wedding we were attending, and having garage parking was fantastic. Definitely recommend.

Overall a great place to stay. Location is really great. You can walk to all of Old Town. Well equipped property. As the only member of our group that drove, was nice to have a garage!

Was perfect for our needs. Isn’t high end home- but is decorated nicely, inside was clean and housed our large party. Close walking distance to many great spots. Cute backyard add porch. Near the train, but we enjoyed seeing it pass by and the noise didn’t bother us much.

Convenient location, clean, and responsive host

The location was good. The train noise was known and didn't disappoint. The house accommodates 22, but only if prepared to have multiple people sharing. Otherwise it has 4 double rooms and 1 very single bed room. And living rooms with futons for overflow. The host was quite antagonist over the review of ID's pre check in. I received confrontational texts regarding the process to upload ID's. The platform did not have the plus sign to upload photo ID's. I was wanting assistance on how to supply the photos and was informed that as I was having trouble, it might be worthwhile me finding a hotel instead, and hoping i had insurance to cover my costs. A bizarre comment when i had fully paid and was simply needing assistance to supply the required iD's. We were threatened that no guest was allowed in the house without providing ID's and that a door counter was present ensuring that no more than 22 people be allowed inside. If more than 22 people entered we would be visited by security at an added cost. We abided by ALL the rules. Only to be hit up by another cost 2 weeks after leaving. One guest had arrived from an international destination at 1pm and asked the cleaners to leave their bags. We have been now hit with an early arrival fee. This host has been a nightmare. We had a second house of similar size and standard in Lincoln park, and the experience was completely different. The house was suitable, the host caused great stress and undue anxiety. Very disappointing.

Wish every stay was like this. Everything as As advertised and communication simple and open. Pleasure
