South Bend, Indiana
You don't want to miss this beautiful place to stay when you are in South Bend for a Notre Dame game or just a visit to the area! This house has been COMPLETELY remodeled and is beautiful on the inside and out. Less than .5 miles to campus, you can hear the game from your front porch!
This home is cozy and can sleep up to 13 people comfortably! With plenty of beds and bedrooms, you and your friends/family will have a great visit to South Bend!

Our immediate family of seven from 3 different states gathered here to attend my dad’s/their Gramps’ memorial service. There was plenty of room to invite a few out-of-town cousins over for lunch and conversation after. We didn’t even use the 3rd floor with 3 (?) bunkbeds. I had difficulty getting into the house, but the response to my text was fast, and I actually talked to someone live until the door (sticky) opened. No toilet paper anywhere, but after another phone call, it was delivered to the front porch promptly. Only one garbage bag so we improvised for our second load. Beds were comfortable, stairs are LOUD AND CREAKY, but it’s to be expected in an old home. Beautiful decor. Close to ND and bars. We Ubered to Brothers the night of the service and danced like no one was watching (great music) to celebrate LIFE! Would highly recommend.
House was clean, close to campus and very spacious. The ONLY knock on the house is the floors a old hardwood and you can hear EVERY step someone takes. This is a 3 story older home that has been renovated so if you have people going to bed at different times or staying up later than others, sleeping might to kind of tough. Overall, great property. Comfortable beds. Nice location.
Exactly what was advertised. Very clean
Great house. Very clean, and convenient location to campus. Everything in walking distance.
Excellent. Great proximity to Notre Dame. Perfect spot for us
I mean, it is meant for ND football weekends right?
Friends and family stayed at the house. There were 12 of us and we fit comfortably! Plenty of bedrooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen was plenty big for people to hang out as was the backyard. We had day visitors for tailgating and we were able to seat everyone in the grassy area of the backyard under plenty of shade. The driveway was able to fit 4 cars and we still had space. My concern with the property was seating in the house. In the living room, you could seat 5. Dining room is 6. We had to move chairs around the small space, but we made it work. Be sure to bring camp chairs as the property does not have outdoor furniture. We also brought a cornhole for before game activities. Overall, I highly recommend the property and plan to stay there again for our next visit to ND.
We loved staying here. The house is updated and clean. The beds were comfortable. Small living room and dining room but we just really need the multiple bedrooms which were perfect. The kitchen is open and spacious providing plenty of room to prepare meals while others lingered. Only complaints is the house is old and the floors are creaky. When one person is up walking around it’s loud. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this house to anyone traveling with a bunch of people requiring a lot of bedrooms and beds.
Nicely renovated property.
My family of seven stayed in this home while revisiting South Bend and Notre Dame. We wanted a location that was within walking distance of the university and since our hotel reservations were canceled days before we were to depart we had little time to shop around. This home was advertised to sleep ten people so we jumped at the opportunity to stay comfortably! We arrived to a clean, well decorated home that sat on a corner lot. Parking was ample due to a large rear driveway that easily fits 3-4 cars. I walked to the front of the home where the lock keys were located and walked through the kitchen to let my family in through two rear sliding glass doors. The kitchen is a newer addition that also includes a washer/dryer room and a full bath. The appliances were basic, which I only bring up because the refrigerator doesn't have an ice maker or water dispenser...which meant we had to buy water bottles and ice for the duration of our stay. My kids were excited to explore the home and choose what room they were going to sleep in. Unfortunately the house that slept 10 suddenly only slept 7. The attic space that held the remaining three beds was locked off to us. This made no sense to me because the price that I paid each day to stay was the same regardless of how many beds we used. I didn't get a discount for using less beds! Paying the advertised price for a home that sleeps ten I would expect to have ten available. The bathrooms had plenty of toilet paper provided and also had some body soap and shampoo for our convenience! There was also laundry detergent and dish soap for us....along with plenty of towels. The living room needs some attention. While the decorations looked nice, the chairs and couch were very uncomfortable. The TV was mounted oddly on a wall because of two archways that were present on adjacent walls. This forced the TV to be mounted to the side and the mount did not articulate to provide everyone in the room a good vantage. Neither parents nor any of the older kids wanted to use the room. Aside from this I felt that the home provided for what we needed. We walked to and from campus, walked to lunch/dinner at the Eddy Street Commons and walked to the River Walk in the evenings. There's a lot of construction going on and you can see that this location is in an up and coming neighborhood that's still in transition. I recommend this home and would stay again.
