How to become Castaway in this Treasure Coast Paradise

The owner Colleen is lovely. The house on the other hand is not as depicted in the images. The master bath is the size of cruise room bathroom and needs renovation. The home needs a deep clean. There were bugs in the kitchen and along the floor boards, flies in the house No vacuum or sweeper to be found. Upon arrival, Colleen was cleaning the house, we arrived 15 minutes early she was still there one hour later. She has no maintenance team available. The cable was disconnected during our stay. The refrigerator and freezer were too cold and not capable of adjustment. Vegetables froze and had to be discarded .The water filter in the fridge, not sure when that was last changed, we bought bottled water as the water tasted and smelled dreadful. The furniture is uncomfortable and not well maintained. The gas grill, ran out of gas. Colleen did deliver a new tank before the end of the day. The yard was over grown and the pool area not well maintained.We did love the neighborhood, the beach nearby and the pool itself was nice to relax and float in. The pool furniture is dated and mostly uncomfortable. We did leave the home in better condition then we found it in. I do think Colleen is doing some upgrades, new roof etc. Hopefully she will update the photos. She is a lovely owner and very responsive.

The house was wonderful for our family of 4 and two little dogs. Colleen was very helpful and had everything in the home you would ever need, from kitchen supplies to beach needs. The home was beautifully decorated and was obvious Collen put a lot of love into it. The pool and grounds were beautifully maintained. We highly recommend this property.

The house was very nice. The family enjoyed the pool every day. The private beach was less than a 10 min walk from the house. The beach was stunning. Many nice restaurants were less than a 10 min drive on the island. Thoroughly enjoyed the week. Would definitely stay again.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The house felt like home. It was well stocked, with everything you could need for the pool and beach. The kids loved the pool. The private beach was a short walk away, and the beach wagon was very helpful in transporting sand toys, chairs (all provided). Highly recommend a stay!!

Best part of our stay was the beach was 5 minute walk or 2 minute drive to a private beach.Owner very communicative.

This house worked out great for a family vacation - its location was convenient for day trips and activities, and with a pool easy beach access our kids were easily able to have a lot of fun during our stay.

All the creature comforts plus a warmed pool for a great holiday getaway. Great biking and a beautiful private beach.

This was one of our several visits to Vero Beach. Each time we have stayed in various homes. This home was exceptional. The pool area was delightful with plenty of space available for seating. The home is a very short walk to a wide, gradually sloping beach. The Moorings have a very nice cabana/seating area next to the beach. The home itself has plentiful amenities both for the home itself and for the beach. We use the bicycles, which were in very good condition. The property owner truly wants her guests to enjoy themselves. She is readily available by phone call or text. It is very easy to recommend this property for your Vero Beach vacation.

This house was in a perfect location. The beach was a block away. Walked the dog on the beach everyday. The owner was great! She responded promptly and any problems she took care of immediately. Definitely would book again.
