House w/ Private Pool - Walking distance to beach

The property description failed to mention that there is no shared access between the first and second floors. I thought I was booking a whole home where all of my family would stay together and instead it is a duplex, so we were separated. The location of the home shows up closer to the ocean on the map and it is right behind the grocery store. At night their security light shines right into the bedrooms with no blackout curtains. The property owner called me on my way down to the location and gave me the rules and went over items that were already indicated in the rental agreement, asking how many people in my party and if we were smokers, then went on to say I couldn't move any of the furniture. He didn't provide the access codes to the home until after the phone call. He then sent me a text on the last day at 10:33a.m. saying that the cleaning agency said I was still there, of course I was, check out was 11:00a.m., when I told him that, he said oh okay. It was not the best experience for me, I had already committed to staying, so we made the best of it. The house was clean and the pool was nice.
