House overlooking the ocean and the beaches

The house was very clean and very comfortable and a great location for exploring the local beaches. Andre was an excellent host and explained the local area and places to visit. Would recommend the house for a holiday in Brittany and hope to return.

We had two very enjoyable weeks in the house in Kersiny, Plouhinec. The house was spacious, comfortable and in a good location. Thank you to Marie-Christine and André for making our stay a holiday to remember.

The house was lovely and had everything needed for a long stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this house. Great location close to beaches and ideal location for exploring the area.

Myself, my husband and our two teenage daughters spent a week at this wonderful property. We were greeted on arrival by the very amenable hosts, Andre and Marie Christine who were extremely helpful in explaining everything we needed to know about the house and talking to us about the local area. There was a small problem with the wifi when we arrived which Andre immediately resolved by popping out to buy a replacement cable- we were very impressed by how efficiently he dealt with this. Andre and Marie Christine have thought carefully about how to make their guests' holiday experience enjoyable, for example they have a comprehensive range of leaflets and brochures in the property, including tidal times for the nearby beach. The house is beautiful! An old cottage style property, it was extremely spacious for the four of us. It comprises of a kitchen diner, large utility room, big lounge, downstairs bathroom with two separate WCs, a lovely conservatory with sea views, three big double bedrooms and a good sized twin bedroom. Outside there is a great decked area with table and chairs so you can dine al fresco enjoying stunning sea views (perhaps having cooked on the brand new bbq!). There is plenty of space to park and some grass, though the gardens aren't so important when you're a two minute walk to the sea! The house is very well equipped with everything that you need to make it a home from home and it is also very clean. The beach was very quiet when we were there in August which was an added bonus. It's a good sized beach with golden sands. There are several main supermakets within 10-15 minutes away and the beautiful town of Audierne, with its pretty harbour, is only a few minutes away by car, boasting many restaurants, mainly seafood, good creperies and pizzerias. In peak times you need to buy a parking permit from the tourist office for three euros, but this was a very simple procedure. All in all we would highly recommend this charming property, it's a wonderful base to explore beautiful Brittany and then relax in after a long day out and about or sunning yourself on the beach, safe in the knowledge that the owners are there to help should you need them. We definitely hope to return soon!
