House on the back bay with a boat launch and two kayaks on site!!!

This was the nicest rental we have ever stayed in. It was clean, well-stocked, well-located and right on the bayou. Secluded, yet close enough to everything we wanted to do. Never had to communicate directly with the host, which speaks to how well they have prepared the guest experience. I would recommend this unit to anyone wanting a hassle-free experience. One note - the fishing in the bayou wasn't great. Maybe the wrong time of year, the weather - don't know. Caught some, but not what I expected. Again, the property was great!

The property lay out was perfect for our needs. I had a great time. I wanted to fish and relax while the rest of the family shopped, went to the beach or visited local sites. The building is not perfect. The pros,, great location. The layout of the house was great. The patio below the house was great with a fish cleaning station and nice swings to sit on as the breeze blew through. The upper deck was a great place to hang out and talk to avoid the bugs at night. They have fans to help. Now The cons, The majority of the tiles have hairline cracks from previous storm damage and I am shocked on how they chose to patch the ceiling with a 1’x2’ piece of bead board. The deck at the shoreline is solid but in rough shape. A couple boards were loose on one end and a couple beams must be disconnected in a couple spots because the boards sunk about an inch down. I tripped on it a time or two. But if you just fixed a couple things it could be great. I still enjoyed myself and wouldn’t hesitate to buy a place just like it. We made some really good memories that week.

We love this house! The directions to the property from I-10, the check-in process, and the entry code directions were clear and easy. Communication with the hosts was simple and friendly. The house was immaculately clean and even smelled great as we stepped through the door. The views of the water from the two back bedrooms, living room and porch/deck are amazing. The ground level area is great, too, with swings, picnic table, kayaks and a grill, along with plenty of room to park. The kitchen and bathrooms have everything you need. The whole house is tastefully and comfortably decorated. Other rental houses we've visited have been either very cold and obviously never lived in by anyone, or tossed together with thrift store finds. NOT this one! We felt right at home and both said, We could easily live here! It is in a very quiet neighborhood, but the people we did see while walking our dogs were all very friendly. It is located within minutes of restaurants and stores, yet set far off the main busy road. We are already planning a return visit for next spring.

Perfect setting for a family gathering. Plenty of room to spread out, cook family meals and play on the water. Had a bit of a hitch with the AC but host took care of it and made it right. Will definitely be back!

I’ve stayed at the property 7 times and it is always clean and comfortable. The hosts Skipper and Leslie are always gracious. I will be staying again in the very near future.

The house was great! Very clean, easy to access, very inviting and comfortable environment. Everything was there and in working order. The view was fantastic and Leslie is a great host, easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay there again.

We had an absolutely perfect Spring Break staying on Bernard Bayou! The house was clean, comfortable, and ideal for a relaxing family trip. The dock made fishing easy for the kids every morning, the back porch was the perfect place to sit and watch the sunsets, and having a boat launch right on the property made the whole week even better.The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, especially when they allowed us to reschedule our original trip with no extra cost and even said they were praying for our family. That meant a lot to us.This ended up being one of the most peaceful and relaxing vacations we’ve had in a long time. We would absolutely stay here again!

Pet friendly, nice view, could have more hangers in closets, and some kind of grab handle in small bathroom shower. All in all great time. Thank you

The house was plenty big for 4 adults. The views were amazing. It would be great to stay in the summer. Close to restaurants and supermarkets. Easy to get to from the airport.

Host reacted quickly to questions or needs. The Bay location is at your fingertips..watching sunrise/sets, sea gulls, ducks etc all from a large covered deck… set up for outdoor enjoyment canoes, fishing poles, swings and more

Everything was perfect with extras in the coffee bar and kitchen! Lots of out door seating up and downstairs!

The pedal boat and kayaks were fun. We appreciated the life jackets and the crab traps. Everything we needed from town was very close by.Quiet neighborhood, very little traffic. Plenty of room for the little ones to play. Cornhole, foosball, and horseshoes available. They even had fishing poles and other items. So considerate!House was very clean and had all the dishware and appliances we needed. Restaurant and liquor store about a mile away. This is a house that likely survived Katrina or some other storms, so it has some character in the cracked tiles and ceiling repair. None of that took anything away from our enjoyment of the house. Nice beds, pretty views from every window really. Tile floors but a large rug in the living room. The sectional is huge, so we all had room to gather and visit. Wifi was excellent, and some of us were working remotely, gaming, and watching TV most of the time.We used the front deck, the pier, and under the house a lot. Be prepared to climb the stairs if you're not used to that. The pier was a little old, but safe. We would love to stay here again!

I rented this property so my husband could relax & unwind, while celebrating his birthday weekend with all his favorite authentic Jamaican dishes. It was wonderful to watch him fish & be outside relaxing near the water. He really enjoyed this vacation spot. It was like being at home with the lake as an added bonus. It was just what we expected, very clean & very neat. We would love to visit again.

Perfect location. We live about 40 minutes north and frequent this area a lot, especially with our boat. It was very convenient for us. Description is spot on. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

We love staying at this house when we are in town. This trip we had lots of time to fish. We did manage to catch a flounder, but that was all. The house is very comfortable and perfect for our family.

We had a wonderful time at your place. We loved how easy the check-in process was and how responsive you were. The home is set up perfectly for everyone to have their own space but have the living room (with a BIG couch) to all relax and be together. Fun activities to do and just cozy. Neighborhood was very quiet and cozy as well. We had a great time!

Property was in a decent location and clean. There was dried dog feces found under ottoman in living area. Cracked tiles throughout home and uneven flooring seemed unsafe.This home could definitely use some improvements for the price. We would not stay here again.

Absolutely stunning sunsets and it was very nice being on the water. Prior to booking, several reviews referenced how bad the floor cracks in the house were and the rough shape the dock was in. Both were very true, the flooring really was pretty bad and the dock is a safety concern. But again, being on the water and the evening sunsets were extremely nice! The hosts were friendly & easy to work with.

Family went to Mississippi to be with the rest of the family stationed a Keesler AFB. Rented this BNB almost a year ahead. The cost was very reasonable. We enjoyed our stay very much, although one of the paddle boats doesn't have a rudder that we could find. The house was clean, but in need of a little repair. Nothing cause us any issues, though. The memories we made were absolutely worth the small inconveniences. Also, love the water front, but the yard/driveway flood when the tide comes in and it's raining! :)

This house was exactly as described. Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac it provided privacy and great location to include our dog. Everything we wanted to do was close, without the rush of being right on the coastline. We were able to have deliveries by Door Dash, Papa John’s and Instacart. Great choice!

I will start off by saying, would we stay here again and that would be YES! I have to be honest, the house probably needs some repairs, it has definitely had some water damage, repairs were sloppy and probably affected the flooring as it was not level in some spots. Pier on property was not accessible because it was blocked off with caution tape. Not sure if hot tub was advertised but that was not working as well. NOW…..all good! PLENTY of room and spacious, beds were ALL comfortable and GREAT pillows! The shower pressure in the master toom was AMAZING, like jet power! Kitchen was nicely stocked. House was very clean. AC worked great! And outside under house was nice to have! Great views! We had a terrific time, enjoyed our stay and again, we would stay there again. Ohhh and communication was great, Leslie waa very responsive!

We have stayed at this location several times now. We love how centrally located it is to everything we like to do when we are in town. Our Grand Daughter had a dance recital at the community college down the road. It's not far to the beach. It's not far to Biloxi. It's not far to many restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

This was my 4th time staying at this house and as usual it is alway a great experience. The property manager always communicate with anything that I need to know.

The house was nice but the pier was under construction, and the outdoor lights were frustrating because they were on sensors and we had to keep going in front of the lights to activate them.
