The detached house is located in the middle of a large garden on the hill (Monte Giove) in a quiet location above the old town of Terracina overlooking the sea. A romantic natural garden with olive trees, oleander, bougainvillea, rosemary hedge, agave and brick hearth for barbecuing surround the house.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed at the villa for 10 days and enjoyed every minute! We were four adults and two children and the villa and its venue offered something for everyone. It was very clean and had all the facilities for a longer-term stay (kitchen, washing machine, safe, t.v., dining/sitting room, etc.). On entering the house and opening the terrace doors, our first reaction was: What a fantastic view! But, what we ended up liking the most during our stay was the wonderful ambiance (“gemuetlichkeit”) of the house, its décor, the individualized rooms, the terrace, and the garden with its flowers and lemon trees. It was great sitting together on the terrace at the table for breakfast and for dinner enjoying the beautiful environment that surrounded us. In the evening, walking together to the historic village not far away for a coffee, gelato or sometimes a local concert was very pleasant. Of course, Terracina and its surroundings are fabulous: lots of beaches, interesting towns within cycling distance (two of us were with bicycles…the hill made for great exercise) or by car, and nice shops, restaurants and pizzerias both in the main town and in the historic village. In sum: excellent value and a wonderful experience
