Stayed May 19, 2026This was our 5th stay at one of Vicky and Doug's properties and our 3rd stay at House of Liebe. And the name says it all because we LOVE staying here! It's always clean and comfortable. It's right next to a Circle K so if you want a snack or something you can just walk right over. Easy peasy. The little village nearby is adorable as well. There's also a pizza place nearby (La Rosa's) that our kids love. It's a short drive to Cincinnati and we love staying here for concerts at Riverbend. We also went to King's Island this visit which is a short 30 minute drive from the property. Vicky is always very responsive if there are any issues. Will continue to book with these wonderful people every time we visit the area!

Stayed May 1, 2026This was our first stay at the House of Liebe, having stayed at two other properties from the same owner. All of the properties were excellent, but this was our favorite so far. It is a large space with plenty of room, and the hosts decorate all of their properties in a fun, quirky way. The properties are always clean and inviting. Highly recommended.

Stayed Apr 11, 2026Quirky is the perfect way to describe this property—everywhere you look, there’s something interesting and unique to see. It was clean, comfortable, and inviting. We especially enjoyed the large kitchen area, which became our main gathering space for sitting and chatting. The only slightly awkward aspect was needing to go up the narrow, winding stairs to use the living room—especially when carrying snacks or drinks. It did make us wonder about the layout, as the bedroom is downstairs with the kitchen while the living room is upstairs. I’m sure there’s a reason for it, and honestly, it wasn’t a big issue since the kitchen provided plenty of space for relaxing together. Just a bit unconventional, but completely manageable for an overnight stay.Vickie, the host, was very friendly and responsive. She also offered helpful dining recommendations, and there’s a binder at the property with plenty of additional options.Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Stayed Jun 27, 2025The effort Vicky and her family expend on this property is evident. The house is sparkling clean, well-appointed, and the beds are really comfortable. The kitchen and a spacious bedroom are downstairs. A semi-spiral staircase leads to the upstairs bedroom, a living area with TV and plenty of board games, and the bathroom. This place is perfect for a Reds or Bengals game. My daughter and I took the Southside Shuttle bus to a Friday night baseball game. It was an easy ride and only cost 4 round trip. The next day we drove to the game, and that was easy too.I was surprised how easy it is to get from Covington to Cincinnati. Our visits to the zoo and sign museum were just a short drive away. Thanks, Vicky and Doug! The House of Liebe is a wonderful place.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025We stayed here for a family trip to Cincinnati. Great location, easily walkable to the city and sites we wanted to go to. The kids loved the extras there like the spinning wheel and drawer of random things they could take :) Perfect for what we needed. We are from the Detroit area but if you have never lived near or traveled to a city center, the home is located off the main city area behind a gas station with a homeless population. We had zero issues with this and did not feel “unsafe”, only mentioning this so you’re aware, especially if you’re not from areas like this. We had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this location or stay again.

Stayed May 23, 2025Location was great for the reason for our stay. We were in town for our wedding celebration - our place of stay should have been the last thing we would need to worry about, however, it was the most stressful part of the weekend. We received multiple, long messages reiterating the same “rules” throughout our stay. We had to get it “approved” for two individuals to come by for 2 hours to do our hair and makeup. Having a few out of town family members stop by to drop off a wedding gift was not allowed because we couldn’t have “visitors” enter the home. Felt as if every move we made had to be approved by the hosts. We were even told how to park our cars. We felt uncomfortable sitting in the courtyard because we felt we were being watched by the multiple cameras. Seems like maybe this host has been burned in the past, but that shouldn’t be held against new guests. The home itself was nice, spacious, and had a lot of character.

Stayed May 18, 2025Our stay was very comfortable. First time travelling with our 15 year old small dog. She had a secure side yard for potty breaks and we loved having coffee/reading beneath a shade tree. Loved the location for walking to restaurants. Try the Bahn Mi at The Standard, a tenth of a mile away. Grabbed a slice of pizza on Mainstrasse mid day after visiting Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park. Headed the opposite way for a brunch and then Korean food. Vicky was on property within 5 when we had initial access glitch. Museums were a quick and easy drive over the bridge. Devou Park was a quick drive up the hill and a beautiful location to overlook Cincinnati with a children’s park and hikes Vicky was insight within minutes when we had an entry glitch. She was very personable and helpful. She has so many family fun activities that we’d love a return trip with grandchildren.

Stayed Nov 2, 2024We came down for a Bengals game and were looking for somewhere close to stay, this house checked the box. It was close to the game and to our favorite breweries, one being Braxton which was within walking distance but we didn’t walk. The Circle K next door seemed a little sketch so we chose to drive to things in the area vs walk. Parking was tight but we were very thankful that the house had its own parking. Guests were staying in the attached rental but we didn’t really notice them which was impressive for such an old home. The binder with the house rules also contained lots of information about the area, restaurants, etc which was super helpful.

Stayed Oct 11, 2024The property is very nice and comfortable. Very creative decorating and welcoming. In a good location within walking distance of many restaurants and little shops in downtown Covington. The only issue was that neither of us slept well as it sounded like someone was walking on the floor above us all night long. We were on separate floors but had the same experience. May have just been creaky floors of an old house,
