House of Architects in Pinhal

The house was very beautiful and the garden as well! We stayed with 6 people and there was enough room for all of us! Also Joana is a very kind woman who we could ask all our questions to. I would definitely recommend this to other people.

Beautiful house close to Sintra. Swimming pool and nice outside area for the kids. Supermarkets close by. Very convenient to drive to Cabo da Roca or Sintra. Great vacation !!!

I can’t say enough about how much we loved this house and the location! The whole area is gorgeous and you can walk to the beach. The house was full of incredible art and lovely places to sit and relax. We hope to come back soon!

We enjoyed our time at this tastefully decorated house very much: very clean, well-equipped kitchen to prepare your meals, quiet neighborhood, nice pool and garden, and very kind and helpful hosts: Joana and Leonor.

The house is full of art, the pool and the pool table were wonderful. Short walks to the most amazing coastline.

A beautiful place to stay for a longer period, nice swimmingpool and quiet area. A real family home with a warm welcome. We will be back because the area has so many things to do.

Large garden and peaceful area with very few neighbours, house full of owners' (good) paintings and attractively furnished. Kitchen also well equipped. Main sights and Lisbon within easy distance and good restaurants nearby. Owners very helpful so an ideal place for a vacation.

The property has a really nice feel - it is nicely appointed with a good balance of living and sleeping accommodation all on the ground floor. The garden is dominated by the pines which bring the lovely summer aroma, shade, as well as the showers of pine needles which can be a bit of a bore in the pool . The availability of bikes was a bonus - it was possible to cycle to the local shops as well as the nearest beach at Macas. We enjoy cooking, eating and drinking and were a little disappointed by the state of the cooker and fridge as well as the availability of some basic kitchen equipment (potato peeler / drainer / garlic press / wine glasses). The three double bedrooms are a little smaller that we were expecting and beds harder than we are used to. Bathrooms are very functional with good showers with plenty of hot water (gas fired boiler). The sitting area and dining area are both comfortable and spacious. The games room complete with pool / snooker table was a great addition. All in all a very nice place to stay although, based on our experience, it is expensive for what you get. Maria Leonor could not have been more kind or helpful.
