House in the green

My family and I stay in villas when traveling simply because we love the convenience of cooking and eating together. The many great reviews encouraged us to book it. However, we’re still scratching our heads as to how/why there are so many of these misleading reviews. Upon check-in, the owners greeted us with an ‘All business- like” attitude. They went over the House Rules, signing of documents, etc. They informed us, very firmly, that we were responsible to remove all garbage from the house upon check-out. The garbage, we were told, could be driven to some location nearby. REALLY? If we did not adhere to this, we would be charged 30 Euros. Wow, we’ve never experienced this and were taken aback by the severe tone set forth during our initial meeting. After settling in, we discovered the following: -the villa is very spacious and has a beautiful terrace with a million dollar view. - the kitchen ( very important for us) was disappointing to say the least. Dark, dingy and not very clean. THE UNANIMOUS DECISION WAS NOT TO USE THE KITCHEN. - the bed linens are cheap and old. Pilled blankets and sheets. - we were given only 1 towel per person for the entire week. - upstairs bathroom smelled of mold/mildew. The bath mat looked like a rag. - sofas need to be replaced…couldn’t sit without sinking Advice to owners: Pay more attention to details. Do some upgrading. We will not be recommending this villa.

Breathtaking views day & night, beautiful villa, excellent vacation spot! Highly recommend!

The property looks just like the pictures and my family really enjoyed our time at the Villa. The views are amazing and is very close to everything you will need in Terrasini. The owners were very responsive to our questions. The only issue was the WiFi and satellite TV did not really work. To the owners defense we did not mention it until check out. It was a blessing to truly disconnect.

The villa was spacious for 8 adults with a beautiful view of the water from the covered patio. Excellent location to visit surrounding areas. Our hosts were very gracious and made us feel very welcome!

This older, large, two-story home is a tranquil oasis in which we spent five days of our vacation. Relatively close to the Palermo airport, (and airport car rentals,) the home is located in a quiet, well-established, residential area of similar homes. The grounds of the property are spacious and the South patio affords a wonderful view of the gulf and far shore line. Nicely furnished, kitchen well-equipped, and beds are comfortable. When I return to the Palermo area I will make sure to stay here once again. The only caveat I would offer is to make sure you have a working GPS which is a necessity for locating most of not all accommodations outside of big cities.

Definitly the flavor or of old time sicily, comfortable, warm, and relaxing.

The property was as expected and the hosts were more than expected. Great location with great views.

We loved the villa and it’s location close to Terrasini . The view from the balconies are awesome. Sam Vito lo capo is in full view and the gulf below us is beautifully lit up all night.

If you want a true Italian Villa experience, this is the place for you. We were welcomed by the owner family as soon as we arrived and they provided a wonderful Welcome Basket of Sicilian goodies for us. The villa is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The owners are very attentive to the needs of guests.

My sisters and I stayed (4 of of us) stayed at this beautiful property. The outdoor space is amazing with a large balcony that wraps around the house and this is by far the best feature of the home. The inside of the house is well laid out as well with four bedrooms - although we only used two of them for our stay and two full bathrooms. The kitchen is a nice size with lots of counter space. It could use a few minor updates but overall I would definitely recommend this home while visiting Sicily. We were able to communicate with Fabrizio through Whats App if we had any issues.
