Stayed Jul 20, 2025Beds were comfy, kitchen is a good size and overall it is a cute house in an excellent location. There are coffee shops all around, restaurants and even small souvenirs stores right accross. Communication with the owner was amazing. She was great helping us out with the check-in process, very accommodating and understanding (it was our first time renting a house instead of getting hotel rooms). Just be aware that you need an actual set of keys so you will have to meet with someone in order to check-in. We though it was an electronic key so we were a little taken aback when we needed to schedule the meeting during our vacations, but everything worked out fine at the end. We would sugges calling they an exterminator. We found two coocaraches at different times in the bathroom in the second floor. That made us antsy, but since it was the only place we saw them, we tried to keep it super clean and just be aware. We also understand that it was rainy season and bugs are more prone to get inside when they can. The other thing was that there is no A/C, but with open windows, we slept very comfortable and during the day, we weren't there at all so no complains. It would have been great if they had provided written instructions for the water heater, as we weren't familiar with how a cistern works, but the neighboor helped us out and we had hot water without any issues at all. We will definitely stay here a second time in the future. Having more space is worth it!

Stayed Dec 1, 2025Lovely two bedroom home with very complete kitchen, though we were just using one bedroom and did not cook. The rooftop was a real plus. Sure didn't need the TV.

Stayed Oct 13, 2025This was an excellent place to stay. We had a wonderful time and found the home to be extremely comfortable, quite roomy, and extremely convenient to all of the activities in Oaxaca. Our host always responded extremely promptly and was quite helpful, even assisting us in finding transportation to the airport. Highly recommended!

Stayed Sep 6, 2025Location is amazing, the only thing that was not the best was that there were not enough bath towels. We were four guests and there were only 3 towels. No AC at all. It was fine since our time there the temperature was ok, but I am sure in other hotter months is unbearable.

Stayed Jul 24, 2025Property was conveniently located to downtown, within quick walking distance to Santo Domingo and Zocalo. Fans provided helped cool the house at night. The roof top patio was lovely, breezy, and perfect for city-gazing and relaxing. Patricia was very responsive to my many questions, and allowed us to stay past her stated check-out time when our flight was repeatedly delayed. We found that taxis were most likely to quickly pick up our request if we walked slightly down the street to the Plaza de la Cruz de Piedra (2 minute walk). This house is a true gem- stop browsing and book it now.

Stayed May 12, 2025Beautiful space, fantastic location and a very accommodating host! Oaxaca De Juárez is a fabulous city and this is the perfect spot to explore it from. Clean, comfortable, and very quiet relative to the location. Early evenings on the roof were especially lovely. We are grateful to have stayed here and will return when we can!

Stayed Apr 5, 2025This is my second time staying here, and it is marvelous. Location is stellar, it's on an exceptionally quiet street in regards to traffic. We could hear some music from a wedding one night, but faintly. For Oaxaca, this is quiet. The kitchen is well equipped, though we didn't use it this time. Rooftop views are great- I know they're working on getting some shade to put up there. Do yourself a favor, and book this place for your trip to Oaxaca. Great managers, too,

Stayed Mar 24, 2025This oasis is just outside of the main downtown which can be loud, especially on weekends. It was walkable everywhere and the street felt safe and charming. We had one hiccup with the water that property manager Michael dealt with right away and was resolved by the next day. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Stayed Jan 24, 2025We loved the proximity to Centro and surrounding neighborhoods. There are plenty of Cafes, restaurants, and markets nearby. The apartment is away from busy streets and is reasonably quiet. The kitchen was well equipped, but we didn't cook while we were there. The beds were comfortable. The rest of the furniture was not comfortable for relaxing. Upgrading the sitting areas would go a long way. We had no issue with hot water. *tip - only turn on the hot water (on the left) and wait 4-5 minutes before getting in the shower. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

Stayed Dec 2, 2024Lovely clean home walkable to the zocalo along the walking street. We were met at the house upon arrival and everything was explained. Any requests we made during our stay were promptly dealt with. Exceptional views from the roof deck. Plenty of water for our needs. Very workable kitchen. Excellent experience!!!!
