Stayed Oct 23, 2024Loved the donkey and the Shetland pony. Even saw a deer as we were turning around in the yard. When walking in, the house had an odd smell. We noticed bad repairs completed. The toilet paper holder in one bathroom was no longer on the wall. Shoddy tile work in the main bathroom. Other toilet clogged on first use and they never replied to my email. When I got to bed and looked up at the ceiling fans, it was disgusting. None of the ceiling fans had been cleaned in at least months. With my allergies, I was afraid to use it. The towels were the size for children, stained, and no longer soft. The sitting furniture was small and cheap. Not made to get comfortable. Maybe it’s a way of life, however I expected a tiny bit better of a place I was paying to stay at.

Stayed Sep 15, 2021This property was such a great place to stay! We were visiting for Army National Guard Fort Sill graduation and this was perfect! Not too far from where we needed to be and it was in a very quiet location. The house was very nice! The perfect amount of room for all of us! I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in the Lawton area.

Stayed Feb 24, 2026Very basic with dorm room style furniture, futon instead of sofa. It felt more frat house than a comfortably get-away we're used to. We were hoping for something more comfortable, but we made due. We had to contact the owner for the key code because it wasn't sent ahead of time as stated in reservations. We used the kitchen to cook a couple of meals during our stay, but had to wash the dishes before we could use them because they had dried on food. Gross. The most enjoyable area of the property was the outdoor firepit. The hottub area looked nice, but we did not use the hottub, too many cameras gave a creepy vibe. We did discover an Amazon Echo device in the main room of the house, didn't know if we were being recorded.... creepy. T.V.'s did work. Shower worked. Dishwasher worked. There was even a washer and dryer if one needed. If you like very basic and simple you'd probably like this place, but if you prefer more space to spread out and comfortable homey feel to land look elsewhere.

Stayed Dec 17, 2025The entire house was so cute and clean! We were only able to stay one night but we got the best sleep as well. A major plus, and surprise, was the mini horse and donkey that greeted us (from the other side of the fence) when we pulled in. My daughter loved that! Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Nov 12, 2025The fact there was 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfect. Couch in living room was not comfortable, we thought it may break at times sitting on it. Also not enough placed to sit comfortably. Hot tub was great, my son just graduated boot camp and enjoyed his time soaking. Loved the animals outside, horse and donkey and especially the 2 cute cats that were very friendly welcoming us!! I would def stay again, especially if there was firewood available and a lighter to enjoy a nice fire. Thank you again!

Stayed May 14, 2025We booked this place to attend boot camp graduation at Fort Sill. The distance to the base was perfect and gave us a spot where we could just unwind and spend time with family. We also were super close to the cute town of Medicine Park! Highly recommend going to Mama Donato’s pizza for a fun experience and great pizza! Back deck area was nice to enjoy in the evenings. House was clean and host was very responsive.

Stayed Mar 12, 2025This is a great stay! We booked for our son’s boot camp graduation. The entire booking process was smooth with great communication! The house was homey and clean. We loved our neighbors, the pony, donkey and kitty! Take apples and carrots for the wild ones! Medicine park, Holy City and the mountains were very close! Would definitely book again if ever in the area.

Stayed Feb 4, 2025The property was great! We stayed here back in October/November. The host worked with us when his dates for graduation changed! We discovered that the house is not fully ADA accessible. My friend had an injury requiring a walker while in Oklahoma, and the small bathroom with the walk in shower is inaccessible to the toilet with the walker. With some planning we were able to make all things function. She was able to use the main bathroom toilet and the smaller bathroom’s walk-in shower. She was able to get to and from the house with only one step to maneuver! There is a donkey and miniature horse in the neighboring pasture that are fun to feed. We did not get to see the outdoor kittens this time. I recommend bringing apples and carrots for the donkey and horse. (Donkey is more gentle than horse.)

Stayed Oct 30, 2024We came for Basic Training Graduation. We had 5-7 in our group. The house did fine for our purposes. It would have been nice to have access to a broom and maybe laundry. We had a slight glitch with the TV. But, we worked around it. The host was responsive. The donkey, miniature horse and cats were a wonderful perk. The area coming into Medicine Park is a bit sketchy, but the house was fine. There is no basement, so with the tornado warnings… we weren’t sure where to go. The house has a clear DIY feel to it, but it is all functional and clean. The one toilet clearance is certainly not ADA recommended , but it was fine for me. Paper towels should not be next to the gas stove. All that really doesn’t matter. We were there for so much more. We saw our kid. We made memories. It was a great week!

Stayed Oct 17, 2024The communication with our host was outstanding! They were there at every corner to answer questions we had about the property or the community and things to do in the neighborhood. Our greeters were a pony and a donkey! That would be one set of neighbors. The other set arrived in the morning in the form of three deer eating acorns outside the bedroom window. We spent most of our time on the patio and enjoyed cooking out on the barbecue pit. we spent most of our time on the patio and enjoyed cooking out on the barbecue pit. There was a burn ban so we did not get to enjoy the fire pits, But appreciated that both the front and backyards were available for our enjoyment. Although the kitchen is small, it had all of the items needed for our group, everything from stake knives to pots and pans to coffee, pods, and bottled water waiting for us on our arrival! In comparison to other properties in the area, we saved a bundle by renting this small home and enjoyed our time in Medicine Park, at the Wichita‘s, the great Plains museum, and the aquarium. When choosing a property, don’t expect the property to change to meet your groups expectations, this is exactly what we wanted, as we were not planning on living in the home, but merely gathering for meals and rest. We brought our own games, but there were games available. We brought our own camp chairs, but there were also chairs on the patio front and back for our use. We had A fantastic stay!

Stayed Aug 30, 2024Cabin is really cute at first glance, but once inside you can tell it is lacking maintenance and care. The furniture is super small, poor quality, and uncomfortable. The listing says it can sleep 10, but the futons are so small it would have to be 2 kids (maybe) per futon. The second bathroom is very tiny, an average adult would be hard-pressed to squeeze around the sink to get to the toilet, which clogged constantly, leaving only 1.5 toilets for 6 (up to 10) people. The fridge had a leak so it didn't keep our food very cold, and we couldn't cook any of it either because the stove didn't work. A maintenance guy did come out pretty fast, but he wasn't able to fix anything. We couldn't use the grill outside either because it was so covered in gunk we didn't want to use it, so we weren't able to cook any food the whole weekend. Luckily, it was just a couple days instead of a longer period or it might have been more of an issue. I'm not sure if the owners actually check the property in between renters because the last guests had left clothing on the back deck, which was still there, and our kids couldn't play in the backyard because the grass was so overgrown we didn't want to chance ticks. We communicated everything to the owner, but didn't hear back until after we left. We told them they could still contact us if they wished, but it's been a couple days and they haven't reached out. Not worth the price. Pro: mule and mini pony live next door and love pets and treats.

Stayed Jul 30, 2024We arrived and had no internet, the yard was overgrown and the outside garbage was not picked up. We had animals around in the neighbors yards and it was a very rural setting. The rental home outside looked abandoned. But we went in and it had no frills decor like a college level dorm house.. The manager/assistant did arrive and picked up the garbage and the grass was cut on day two of our stay. We checked out on day four. Internet was unavailable and unfortunately we paid 199.00 a night which was higher than what was listed. Medicine Park was a great town with creek swimming and good eateries. It was close to FT Sill but this home was very basic and way too expensive for what it offered. Good things about the home were the front porch, back deck, outdoor grills, firm beds and good AC. The manager /assistant, Mikaela, was helpful about what to do in Medicine Park.

Stayed Aug 2, 2024Really not much of a Mountain View with all the trees around however they made for great shade and sitting on the back deck and visiting was peaceful. Same with the front porch area! It was perfect for my mother’s 77th birthday get together. The beds were too hard stiff or firm and seating wasn’t adequate for more than a few. It’d been perfect otherwise

Stayed Jul 24, 2024The location was perfect for our visit to see our soldier at Ft. Sill. Easy to find, great views. I wish the kitchen was better stocked with cooking utensils &pots & pans but we worked around it. Thankfully we only ended up with 4 people of the 7 we expected to come. Otherwise it would have been way too small. One of the bathrooms is really small. Deceptive in the pictures. The grass was not cut so it didn't make for a great picnic space when we brought our soldier for lunch. Again, we worked around it. For the price, location & reason we were there I would recommend it!
